Gooseberries are my second favourite berry! We have to bushes in our garden here in Norway, where one of the bushes have red berries and the other one has green, so if you see a really soft green one, it´s completely ready to pluck. You actually don´t have to cook them, but if you eat a lot of them (20-30+++ or something like that), it might effect your tummy, but that has never happened to mel :-) Great videos by the way!

You can eat gooseberries raw. I did that all the time when I was a kid and my friend had them in their backyard. You don't have to cook them

You don't have to cook gooseberries in order to eat them. As long as they're ripe, you can eat them raw 😊 however they are nicer cooked.
