  • This video introduces builds on the prior video to derive the transmission line equations. These are the fundamental equations that govern the behavior and propagation of signals along a transmission line. They serve an analogous role as Maxwell’s curl equations. The transmission line equations are Fourier transformed to arrive at the Telegrapher equations. From these, the wave equations for voltage and current along a transmission line are derived and solved. Further analysis of the solutions is covered in following videos.
