Old JAFFA with all its restaurants and stores and alleyways streets remind us in areas of the old city.. This is a home away from home but having a beach 20 minutes away from the center Square of Old JAFFA.. we would think this was the old city if they didn't take down our Old clock Tower next to the Jaffa gate and the rest of the other buildings to open it up . Gorgeous! Reminds me of Safed. I did an archeological excavation in Jaffa in 2010. Amazing place with over 4,000 years of history!!!

What is Israel
It does look a lovely city very clean and tidy. But the last ten minutes of the video, that part of town, not so nice. Too much graffiti and litter. Personally, I would avoid that area.

I visited Jaffa for a few days when I was stranded in Tel Aviv due the volcanic eruption in Iceland several yeas ago. I loved it but I could not visit the museum. I liked the old Egyptian gate (?). I tried to find it in this video, but I couldn’t do so.
