Great project
Thanks 👍🏻
Nice.
Thanks Phill, I made something similar for one of my grinders, but as I was using a polishing mop in mine I fitted a back and angled side braces too to reduce the mess from the mops, it's very handy to be able to hold it in the vice as you tend to push more when polishing than grinding ! The handles are a great addition where you'll regularly be relocating it between projects !
Cheers Andy 👍🏻 the one you made sounds good with the back and sides. Nice idea 👌🏻
Nice video Phil. Would the grinder be beefy enough for a wire wheel or fibre wheel ?.
I'm not sure to be honest. I plan on testing it with the wire wheel I have. I think that putting wider stones on like a 20mm stone may mean that the bolts don't tighten all the way on although I am not sure.
Hi Phill, that is a good stand for your grinder, I like the spray finish on the wood it still shows the grain and gives it a polished finish. The main thing is it's strong and sturdy a great workshop project. Great video Take care
Cheers Shaun much appreciated. Got so many videos planned on my to-do list!
