I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.
I have a Ranger boat which I have stored in Walker. I’ll be heading that way for a couple of weeks of late fall walleye. I have a Helix 10 on the dash and after watching your video I’m planning on a D ram ball on the gunnel. I know the Ranger has narrowed the gunnel so I’m hoping it fits. Never drilled through gel coat but have watched video on how to. Do I screw this in or bolt it in? Not sure if there are wires running that high in the gunnel. Not sure if there is access to get a nut on the bolts. I’ll have to look at the cup removal option to run wires. I have a rail which comes close enough to me while sitting at the helm to run the Livescope which I’ll mount on the rail. With an Ultera I’ll be able to run and gun without leaving my seat. In the spring I fish crappie so I’ll have it mounted on the rail on the bow. Thanks for your suggestions.
That’s a great idea! I do want to add that I just actually upgraded my pole system. I switched over to an Arclab pole system and have been loving it! It adds a lot more stability while still being able to run and gun quickly. They make a ton of different options for a bunch of different boats. If you haven’t already bought your parts - might be worth checking out! Here’s the website - arclab-motorsport-fabrication.myshopify.com
Great vid, but have a couple questions about setup, I have an ice bundle but haven’t seen any settings for the boat with the ice bundle, do u have a video on that?
very nice bro...I like the set up...Just googled summit pole with the livescope. Getting excited for ice, and was looking for ice ideas, but saw your video and it looks nice. maps on right, side/down imagine in middle, and livescope on the right..what else you need...I like it man
I love this set up for my boat! I should note that I have since switched to an arclab pole and boat set up as well as their ice shuttle and I love it! Better quality parts and I can troll faster in the boat without my pole slipping. I would check them out! arclab-motorsport-fabrication.myshopify.com
Nice video! I just added mega live to my fishing arsenal and I decided to go with the summit pole as well. Have you looked at their stabilizer plate? It’s out of stock right now, but I will be ordering it to help keep the pole from moving.
Congrats man! I haven’t used there stabilizer plate, but I’ve actually upgraded my whole system to the arclab system! I believe arclab has a plate compatible with the summit pole as well
@@tjsguideservice Yeah, I actually watched your update video after I made that comment. That arclab plate looks a lot like the summit one. Did you notice a big difference after you added the stabilzer plate? It seems like it would make a big difference.

Yes. I have the black box and part that attaches to trolling motor garmen live scope with out display screen. I am looking to buy one but want make sure everything will work together.
@@tjsguideservice i still have to buy my 3 batters mounting plate, brackets to hold my lowrance HDS7 and HDS9. A screen for garmen live scoop, I do have the black box and part the mounts to trolling motor.
I’ve been waiting for a video like this. Thanks so much! Question about the summit pole mount. I have the their ducer pole for ice fishing and I’m looking to buy their boat mount. Would you recommend their 9" (or 6”) double ball arm and 2.5" round ball mount, or would it be better to buy those parts separate and go with bigger ball mounts to reduce pole wobble when moving faster than 2mph? Sorry for the loaded question. 🤓
Glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, I would love to see that same mount in the bigger size ball. I feel like it would solve a lot of stability issues! If you can just by the boat mount part without the ram, I would do that separately. Not sure if the bigger size ram would be too big to mount on the pole or not. I do know that Arclab makes a mount that is much sturdier, but since you already have the pole, it makes sense to just add the ram mount and boat mount. I would go with the 6” if you don’t need the length to get over the side of the boat. The longer it is, the less stable it will be. Hopefully that all makes sense!
@@tjsguideservice That is super helpful. Yep, I follow you on all of that. Thanks again man. Again, this video answered sooo many questions, specially the pros/cons of each method. Solid bro.
@@davidgoodberry4679 I don’t think they would work together because the pg-500 requires the rotational part of the arclab pole. And you are still dealing with the instability of the ram mount under pressure from water
That is how it is always set up. Not sure if you can change that. Might take a bit to get used to, but just knowing which way the handle is going and making sense of it from there
