    'How can a man be a hero today' isn't a redundant question; the nature of heroism might just look different. For example, it takes a hero to risk their own personal security and liberty to stand against power (Snowden, Assange etc). The potentially destructive forces of power can be truly terrifying; the underbelly of power most certainly is and it takes enormous courage to act against it. This sort of heroism is urgently needed in many contemporary settings (workplace, politics etc) and, of course, this would include immensely brave male and female heros.
