mmm I love the shelby cobra, original english car with american power worked so well the first time round, and it did with the ford GT also. british chasis + american engine = good car and also I think they are all nice cars. I wish they had a 67' 1200 beetle in there, then I could drive a car exactly like my own around racing tracks ill probably never visit. :)
@madjimms They are two separate things. My '61 beetle has peronalty and pretty much the opposite of brute force. Most of todays supercars have tons of brute force but little personality. And muscle cars have plenty of both things.

The mustang wasn't a heavy car, the early mustangs were about as heavy as the typical japanese coupe, and about twice as powerful. The mustangs in 1971 to 1973 were quite heavier, but still around one ton and a half, which is not too much. They didn't handle worse than any other affordable car of the time.
@arne11vivelid It's pretty hard to find, being a standard car you'll get it in the 2nd hand market. I've only seen it once since when i bought the game, and i bought it.
@machone7I Except who needs a 300hp 14mpg car? I'll keep the 120(ish) hp from an 80's Toyota or Honda & go the same places just fine while getting more than twice the mileage.
Just saying right now, based on my experience, the Tempest LM GTO '64 and Dodge Charger Super Bee '71 are good for Drifting/Powersliding when maxed out. The Corvette stingrays, not so good with them.

I just love collecting the older cars on this game. I find it more rewarding to win with old, under-powered cars, than with the newer faster ones.
