Great video. In recent years, you have been able to pay a smallish suppelement on a Business ticket. Worthwhile when the Business lounges are crammed and oh such a jolly way to pass a few hours !
It's certainly an experience and a very pleasant way to spend a few hours. Agree with you on a la carte v buffet - the only exception being the very good and incredibly fresh sushi offered on the buffet, plus feeling less awkward when taking multiple desserts! 🙂
I do beige. I like beige. It's relaxing and classy, especially if the real leather seating is the same colour. The class act is to throw in lots of brass fittings and fixtures with glass tables (brass and glass). That brightens the beige somewhat, and have a contrasting carpet - black and white pattern is good. Final touch is have a few plants.
Woohoo, commentary, which is as good as always of course. If I had to wait 45mins for a la carte then I'd be getting the buffet as amuse bushe no matter what the looks from the more seasoned passengers, all 3 of them spread throughout this overly big lounge.
@2:08 it's nowhere near 20k for a first class flight. Bangkok to London and return goes for around $7k.
Agree. I did Ireland to Australia with layovers in Dubai for Euro 10k return.
If you work in mining in Australia and fly Qantas. I hit Platinum after 3 months. Love using all the Emirates or one world lounges

The individual showers were perfect!
I know that lounge like the back of my hand, I even know some of the staff by name. I am a bit worried about paid access though

$300? Cripes!
Nice video.
Did you try any spa treatments and were they included? It would definitely be a bargain if so!
Shall I book for the Spa prior to my arrival?
Is that from West Wing?
Is this the same first class lounge that just been renovated? If it is, I honestly can't tell the difference.
You are talking about lounge concourse B. Which is undergoing renovation.
