Wow Hugo! your videos really inspires me to make planes review because you are really awesome and confident to use your voice and revealling your face as i am nearly your age, im 13. Your video really inspires me to make a plane review!
Great to see this review. Especially because they are being retired in the near future and being replaced by the A220 Apparently this will be the first Route to be replaced
Great review Hugo, was in the lounge in Canberra recently, very impressed with the food and drink offerings. Then flew to Melbourne on a B 717. Won’t be long and the 717 will be replaced by brand new Airbus A220. Keep up the great flight reviews mate.
Enjoyed this one. Ah the pocket rocket 717 (aka MD-95). Love them. Must book a flight before they're gone as it's been awhile for me. As much as I love flying on them as a pax, their time is due. Reliability is an issue sadly, and the A220(aka Bombardier CSeries lol) will provide so much more scope regionally and a much newer paxex - very excited to see them come online. Just a fyi, the "private" lounge there is the much hyped Chairman's Lounge. I've been in two of them personally via QF invite, and they are akin to scaled down First Lounges with a table service dining menu, full drink service etc, very quiet (no announcements-staff service is personal) and discrete with who else may be inside(for obvious reasons). Anyway despite the hype about them, they are very nixe, but not magical places :)
Thank you! Yeah me too. Yeah, it’ll be cool to see the A220, but sad to see the 717s go. Oh wow, impressive that you got invited! Thanks for the info :D
Hello! If it’s overnight, and you can afford it I’d book an airport hotel of sorts. If it’s a day layover and you can’t check in yet maybe catch the train to the city, if you can check in then maybe sit down and watch a movie or something. It’s difficult to fill in 12 hrs… hope that helps! I’d also make sure you’re wearing comfy clothes.
I just booked row 25A for a flight on a 717, do you know if that seat blocks the window view? i completely forgot about the fact that the last row could have the view obstructed by the window
@@Aviation763 Which view do you reckon is good for both fanblade and wing view? I changed mine to 21A but 21, 22 and 23 on the right side are also available
nseyyYes flight with Ansett CBR-MEL September 1987 aboard Fokker F-27 a great flight full food service with Rolls Royce Dart engine and Ansett First Class MEL - CBR Boeing 737- 377 and TAA Douglas DC-9-31 Business Class 1987 we had a three class service prices yes were high yet had choices save money have quality service. Hi Hugo! Do you have any advice for long layovers? We are going to LA and have a 12 hour layover at Sydney airport.

I would change it if I were you, yes, row 25 doesn’t have a window, and 24 does but with an obstructed view I believe. Hope that helps!

@@RyanZ225_PC 21A would be good but 22 is probably the best. Not 100% sure though since different planes have different configs.
