- In this vid I fit a CRC fairing supplied by Reactive Parts …. Please check them out to see all the cool stuff they do. I’ve used CRC fairings on my Superbike and Supersport bike in years gone by. This is the first time fitting them to my new Superstock machine. The fairings are mega, super light but strong and have a great seat and seat pad unit. When it comes to racing saving weight is always important but without compromising construction/sturdy-ness of components and these fairings tick the box. I’m not overly sure what I was trying to do with this video it’s half here’s me fitting the fairings half here’s how to fit the fairings …I didn’t really achieve any of those directives with the vid 🙈 …but nevertheless hope you like it and can at least see a aftermarket race fairing being fitted …as always apologies for my not so great vid …but hopefully as I keep saying I’ll improve the more I do.

Please note other instruction videos, this is how to do it. Cover everything, no matter how unimportant it may seem to you and capture clear images of the part you are pointing at.Nothing worse than finding out you didn't fit bracket B because it wasn't mentioned. An excellent video Ms T.

Hi Jenny, I’ve spent quite a lot of time converting my old ZXR750L2 into a track bike so it’s really interesting seeing how someone at your level preps a proper race machine.
Unfortunately I haven’t had chance to use my bike yet but I’m hoping to do so next year.
I saw you race at the IOM 2009 and your body language described your skill and enthusiasm for the sport perfectly.

I got CRC fairings my 2017 Fireblade last year , they came cracked in two places and the painter said they were the worst finish on fairings he seen.🙁
Sorry to here that … I really like them but sometimes I guess as with any aftermarket race fairing they can get damaged in transit and sorry to here the finish to them wasn’t so great, I personally have been lucky and never had a problem. Race fairings are never perfect but for what I need them for they’ve always been ok xx
What are the two bottles for on the front of the bike ?
They are catch bottles for water from the radiator and fuel from the tank rather than having over flow pipes venting to nowhere …they have to go into a catch bottle to save any potential contamination on track :)
@@jennytinmouthracing is the fuel vent a requirement for track racing as I couldn’t find anything on the subject in the regulation? I however did see it in the Manx gp regs. Trying to get my first race bike up and running and don’t seem to be so straight forwards as I first hopped 😅
@@GBMark90 yep just locate the overflow pipe off the tank …it’s normally routed to drain on the left side by the front sprocket cover 👍🏻
Obviously any drains that would normally just go to the ground on a road bike need to go into a catch bottle for safety reasons on track 😁👍🏻👍🏻
