I'm thankful for all these tutorials. I was able to understand the components we can configure in Sales Hub since I already learned about Model Driven App from your courses, thank you.
Hi Lisa! You are the best Dynamics Tutorial video there is on youtube. Period. I have listened to a few videos and they are just really complicated. Your videos however, are very simple and straight to the point. So thank you so much. I was wondering if you have a video for adding products, units, families and bundles in Dynamics 365? I could really use your help with this.
Hi Lisa, I am big fan of your all videos and like to say thank you so much and appreciate the way you design the complete video, Your video is so tightly packed like watching some thriller movie ..I do not go for a single break even some time, All videos are real life scenario and gives good hands-on for fresher like me :) . Looking forward to see some more video in CRM Customer service .
Great video Lisa. Didn't have clue where to start. I was able to create an instance and modify the Accounts table and Opportunity process within an hour!!
Really nice and simple explanation! Thank you! Is there a way of setting the Dashboard section as the default home? Not been able to see that yet. Thanks
hi Lisa first of all thank you for your input and training, its possible to add a conditional stage in a process? For instant if an opportunity should be a specific point open a new stage and if not continue the regular process
This is very helpful Lisa, thank you. Do you think customising the Sales Hub app to change the Navigation would prevent future OOB updates to the Sales Hub app? In my D365 Sales training I've been encouraged to not touch the standard forms or views, and I am really tempted to update the Nav like in your demo!
Best practice is to “save as” to create new versions of the forms and views, then you can make the changes you want while retaining the original OOTB versions
Hi @Lisa, how does D365 Modules like Sales integrate in an existing solution for example like I need to do customization, should I just create solution and add existing tables related to the D365 Modules like Sales or Marketing?
Hi Lisa, Thank you for your wonderful and amazingly helpful tutorials! As a beginner I am making great progress with 365 sales. A question though, can you advise how can I show the total value for columns in a view? Specifically, I am trying to total the estimated revenue column in a view of all opportunities. Seems this would be a natural requirement for this view but cannot find a clear path to doing this. Any suggestions?? Thanks!
It’s not you, this isn’t something that is as easy to do as you might expect. You can create a rollup column to do this kind of calculation (total of all opportunities for an account) but that doesn’t do the overall total in the grid. Copilot can actually do the calculation so that’s an option now. Otherwise Power BI. There was something on the roadmap that was meant to do this out of the box but I haven’t seen it come through.
@@LisaCrosbie Thank you very much for this insight. Yes, in the interest of time, ultimately engaged a consultant who recommended making a chart and showing both the chart totals and list view of opportunities in the dashboard. Not as clean as I’d hoped. Will circle back to rollup columns when there is time. Credit to you, others have taken note of my navigation skills in Dynamics. Separately, Microsoft is starting to make news on its roadmap to build more AI capability into Dynamics, raising Dynamics profile in competition with SalesForce.
Dear Lisa, thank you for all your work. I think I followed all your steps (except "Guarantee"). But I must have made a mistake because after publishing the whole Account Form it didn't change. Could you give me some advice on how to make a successful change? Thank you in an advance.
Did you create a new form or change the existing form? If it’s a new form you also need to make sure you add it to the app. Also make sure you have published.
@@LisaCrosbie Thank you Lisa. I changed an existing form. After publishing I saw that View has changed but the Form itself is the same as it was before.
Payment processing usually falls under the ERP side of Dynamics 365, you might want to look at the Business Central or F&O apps, rather than this one which is Sales/CRM.
Excellent video once again, thanks. When I come to save the changes, I keep getting this error message: "Error: We ran into a problem publishing the form. Please try again" . Any suggestions? Many thanks, Andrew
Dynamics 365 Sales actually has its own invoice table and functionality, I just haven't shown it here. If that isn't what you want you could create an invoice table related to the account, and set up the fields you need.
Business process flows are associated with a table. If it’s a sales process it’s associated with leads or opportunities, you can’t add it to the invoice record.
I'm not likely to do that video because it's becoming a less used feature (new out of the box dashboards and more emphasis on grids and Power BI and Copilot as reporting options) but I have done a section on it in my model driven apps tutorial here - Chapter 10 - concepts are the same for Dynamics 365 ruclips.net/video/LIC8DFW8fOE/видео.htmlsi=G2DEOgFlcOACbb3d
Hi Lisa, if we delete a columns in table they will permanently go from DB or CRM na we have to choose Remove instead of delete I think in power apps do we have that(remove) button ?
If you want to remove columns from a form or a particular app you can delete them from the form while still leaving them in the main database - you just don’t see or use them in your app. If you properly delete a column from the table in Dataverse then it will be deleted from that environment
Are you in the app called “Sales Hub” as shown in the video here. If so and you can’t see it, is it possible your organisation has customised and removed or renamed it?
I am a complete beginner, i do not even know how to get Dynamic 365 sales onto my computer to try out the free trial period - How do i do this? and what plan should we be using?
Just go to trials.dynamics.com, select Sales, and sign in with your work account and you'll have a free trial. Here's my video demo of it ruclips.net/video/ojKDx9scd9E/видео.html

Thanks Lisa you made this so easy to understand and very helpful for a beginner. Great video!

Awesome Lisa, many thanks!
ERP next! Amazing video!
Thanks - although I will have to learn ERP before I can make a video so that won't be any time soon!
Great video Lisa, really well presented and informative. I will be Subscribing and checking out your other videos. Many thanks.
Awesome, thank you!

@@LisaCrosbie Thanks for the reply! 😃 Does that work for the Navigation menu? That appears to only be modified by adding the whole App to a solution.

Mostly that's a temporary error, solved by refreshing your browser or logging out and in again.
If i want to learn Dynamics 365 Sales should I see this video first or "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM): Tutorial for Beginners" first?
Nice. How would you customize D365 for a simple invoice?
Dynamics 365 Sales actually has its own invoice table and functionality, I just haven't shown it here. If that isn't what you want you could create an invoice table related to the account, and set up the fields you need.

Love your videos! How much do you pay for Dynamics at of interest.
The licensing for Sales Enterprise is USD$130/user/month
@@LisaCrosbie Thanks, is that the only add-on you use for demos or do you have all the other licenses?
thank you

Yes, working on it :-)
