I am reading Fatal Strategies by Jean Baudrillard and some of the concepts seem somewhat alligned. Im always fond of thinkers who want to explore the idea of making capitalism either work for you in a sense (that you being the revolutionary, the artist, the leftist, what have you) or in finding a strange beauty/potential in the chaotic behavior of capitalism. Hell, one of the first things Baudrillard talks about in Fatal Strategies is fashion.
Great video! Lipovetsky may not have been translated much into english but i did find a lot of portuguese translations so im in luck
