Alot of it comes from properly prograning velocity, though nowadays Guitars like this typically are made from high quality guitar samples
Way easier than when it was 12bit pcm samples in the past
Thank you so much for including the FL pattern in this, not for cover reasons but because i love seeing what kind of arrangement makes it sound the way it does
I thought of doing it to songs that are only played by one instrument to show everything that’s going on so other people can see how i got it to sound the way it does : )
I'm trying my hand at music for the first time in my life (Very little Music Theory knowledge) and taking inspiration plus studying these showcase videos are just carrying me through lmao. I'm so grateful for them.
@JN-so6wtAs a matter of fact, I've been fiddling around with some for a while now! A physical electric keyboard, and the Nuke Pad on Bandlab mobile. The Nuke Pad has been my savior, since you can literally set it to a key, fiddle with patterns and it'll probably sound decent! I like to use it to come up with melodies, and then try them out on a real piano.
One of the best chord progressions I've ever listened to🔥
Thank you! \(^O^)/
Sounds like waking up one day and finding yourself in an empty abandoned city once thriving with ppl, nature has taken over and everything is calm and quiet in an unsettling isolating way, yet, its still soothing and comforting somehow
sounds like some obscure 2000's video game's main menu's OST
Really nice, It could be nicer to have the notes not 100% quantized to give it an organic touch too
Yes that is something i should practice with more :D
It's kinda cool this way tbh. It's like something in-between: a cyborg guitar.
a lot of people occasionally say that but i'll be fair with you, I *do* prefer perfectly quantized music
@@sologemenibut notes in a chord on a guitar are never struck at the same time. it's always down or up sweeps, with the strings getting plucked one after the other. if it's not hybrid picking.

I could listen to content / music like this for hours! ^-^ Excellent work! 💖💖
Thank you :D
I bet you can automate it to reach the right chords indefinitely.
Honestly, I thought this was gonna lead up to some meme music melody in the end, but no, it was truly just some nice guitar midi. Thank you for this one, RUclips algorithm.
this is actually amazing. love the tone, vibrato, and little glides you have in there. someone said fps game and i agree. thisd be ghe calm part of a zombie game when the sun is setting and the main characters are having a calm time bonding n laughing. love this little song. i will be back

I was literally just thinking about guitars in the past week in the context of MIDI and VSTs. They sound okay, but generally lack the nuance of picking, pressure on the frets, sliding fingers, etc. This, however, sounds incredible. Very realistic.
I feel exactly the same about digital guitar. The imperfections of human playing can’t really be replicated on the midi. I actually think about lesrning guitar, it would be really cool :D
Great work! Just downloaded a guitar library for FL a few days ago, and this is the kind of thing I was imagining in my head as I was messing with it. Keep up the good work!

This was lovely - thank you!
This is really good man, it gives off a really relaxing vibe
I love this piece, thanks so much for making it sound distinct. This song's a musical representation of a deep dive reflection into the past. Sounds like something that would fit foggy abandoned streets. It's melancholic, from a bygone era, and foreign to anyone who didn't experience the joys and horrors of what was there - whether it'd be the kind of people, the events that were, and memories shared.
I could be misremembering but this piece reminds me of Pink Floyd, as a song or two from the band's discography (one from the wall album I believe) shares that same feel, but from 40+ years ago.
I love this song, and can only wish to see it get an extension - the piece carried this underlying tone for such a short moment until suddenly having closure. I'm assuming this song was made to test the guitar. However I could see a full song made out of what you've done here. It can dive deeper into these melancholic chords, and perhaps carry some main theme to connect it all together and make a bigger impact all-around.
With that said, I've had this song on repeat and enjoyed writing this comment. Is there any way I can purchase or download this song, and use it for videos, with credit of course. Also, is there ways I can contact you via social media or email?
Thanks again.
Wow thank you very much for the compliments! ;D

I've seen that this piece reminds some of Pink Floyd, I haven't listened to the band so I can't realy tell haha.

Dude i love this so much! ❤
I’m glad you like it!!
This alone has earned you a sub, it’s absolutely gorgeous! Any tips for an infantile producer like me? :’)
thank you very much ;D
The only advice i could give is practice! Try and discover different types of instruments and see which one you like the most, i can recommend piano as a starting point. Then try and make chords that you like and make melodies or other notes on top of those chords. That’s how i started out :)
I would love to hear this with a tiny bit of delay between each of the notes that are played simultaneously. I think it would sound more natural, since when you strum, there is a bit of travel between hitting each of the strings.
If there is no delay/travel, it sounds more like you are plucking all three notes at once, which isn’t impossible, but not what you are going for in this song, I believe.
Yes the strumming is something I've started to look more into now after this song and I exactly get what you mean : )
@@Tides16001 nice, can’t wait to hear it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I always found a hard time layering guitar bits, now I see how it's done :) thanks!
dude this is awesome
What settings did you use for the Gojira? The tone is really sweet!
Duddeee make a tutorial on how you programed this midi. I NEED THIS im about to buy this plugin!!!
Haha i'm very happy that you like :D
If you mean the guitar midi specifically the general tone of the guitar plays big role of how chords and notes sound like on top of eachother. The amp also plays big role. I'd recommend just playing arround with the vst and try out what different velocities do
Has og diablo vibes but then turns into a more major theme yes I like very chill
so soothing and beautiful 🤩
Listen to David Sylvian. I would recommend "Upon This Earth" - You will thank me later as I have introduced you to the beginning of Ambient Guitar music. So hidden, yet subtle.
You will also then sadly realise, that someone else has done the exact same thing as you, but sicker.
Oh thanks!
I don’t have much practice with ambient guitars or guitars in general, about 2 months maybe so it’s a big journey to get a good and interesting sound, also composition wise
I don't regret scrolling this down to find this comment
I know I'm fuckin wicked. @@giangio45510
everything till 0:55 is somewhat mid but after that it was pretty good. i like your mix and the atmosphere the guitar provides with the effects. well done
