I relate to Amulek. I believe that as I strive to read the scriptures daily, and pray for spiritual awakening, that Heavenly Father will extend such grace and answer those prayers, if I'm diligent. I seek godly sorrow for my sins. I seek true repentance. I have come a long way and have made decent progress but I have a ways to go to get back on the covenant path. I love the Lord, I love the Church and the saints, and the Prophets. I love the book of Mormon. I'm thankful for it. I know I need to read and believe and apply it every day. I pray for strength to do so.
This is definitely a crucial quality to have. I remember a quote that went like this; "the moment you realize you are humble is when you aren't humble anymore". I'd say this also applies to being meek and lowly in heart. We just need to remember king Benjamin's counsel when he said "watch your thoughts and your works". I don't know if this is exactly the right quotation but the message is the same. We need to watch our thoughts and make sure that no prideful thoughts come to our mind. I love this message and David A Bednar is a true apostle of the Lord. He is a great mentor for us, as well as all the other prophets, apostles, and general authorities. I'm incredibly grateful that we have leaders to guide us on our journey home 😀. Let's also be leaders and examples for others; a quote from Russell M Nelson went like this, "our faith may be the catalyst for someone else to join the church". So let's shine our lights upon the world but be meek and lowly in heart as we do so ❤️.
I love the church and I love all the standards (I think I know what Elder Bednerwasteachi us because my relatives are none members of the church and has put my hole family down ) but I still am a member of the church. love Sister Diana Knight

I love Elder Bednar ❤

Came back to this because I need to hear this again ... and probably again and again.
A very nice attribute to remember and take every effort to strive to be meek and lowly in heart.
true
Jesus Christ is Lord. Every knee will bow. He is the Atonement. He is my Savior. This is His Church.
My favourite Apostle
Probably the hardest gift of them all.
Perfect, I needed this
💫✨💫I need the every hour
The irony of Bednar giving a talk on humility
😅
I disagree. Go back and listen to how he starts this challenging subject.

I’m already super meek and lowly in heart. Probably more than most people but this was good I guess
You need to repent quickly my friend .

I'm guessing that was a joke....similar to: "I'm the most humble person in the world!"
