After seeing the art tests and initial layout for Robotnik Coaster, I wanted to try and capture my feeling of looking out on all those crazy neon runner lights-something bright and full of energy. The SRB2Kart sound bites were pretty self-indulgent and goofy, but they're part of an honest feeling, too; the road here was long, and it's worth celebrating.
if not for the fact that there's like 150 tracks in this game, I would have absolutely ADORED an entirely original score from you; the pieces made specifically for this game are phenomenal
That honesty is what makes it so iconic. It's a quality in games and media that I can't really describe, they either have it or they don't, even really awful games can be so earnest and confident in themselves and it's what makes it memorable
Its funny. Given the plot of this game, Eggman finally got what he wanted. He has Eggman land....the Ring Racer Project succeeded. His robots have their power source. The animals have their freedom from being used as said power source and his arch nemisis sonic is on board. He won. Not in the way he expected but he made his dream come true at last.

A track that really (re)introduces the player to the game’s change in flare, from the background to the lights, beautiful introduction to the real part of the game
I can't express how wide my smile was after playing this track after the tutorial. It's welcoming to newcomers and SRB2K veterans alike. This song substituting it only made it more memorable, why am I getting nostalgic for something that a game that came out in April?? It could mean that in this timeline, the events of Heroes and every game going forward never happened, and never will happen either.
