She hasn't copied Kates style. They are both women of a similar age doing a similar role of charity, diplomacy and representing the British royal family. As little as I know about meghan I think that they probably have people around them and stylists and designers helping them look professional and appropriate yet still fashionable. If you were to look at photos of many ladies of similar ages doing similar jobs then look through everything photo you can find of them over the last 10 years you could probably find similarities between outfits in most cases unless one of them has a unique style.
