I found some moon roof screens on Amazon that fits it side window perfect with magnets. Allows more air flow and easier than gutter screens which do work great.

They sound like a great idea. Especially if you don't want to make permanent adjustments to your van. I will have a look and see if i can make something work. Thank you for the info.

I did the gutter gaurds. The screens i have are artsier and allowed windows to be fully open for full breeze 😉

Cheerss! Another handicapped person here who wants to try van life when I can afford it. You are inspiring! In such a small space, ability to move and transfer is important as you know. Physical therapy and upper body exercises for strength is often used to help. My last PT said it stands for "Pain and Torture" LOL but it really helped. Will be watching, God Bless and success to you!

good luck in you attempts to start van life. In some ways you dont really need to wait till you can afford it. It you don't burn a lot of gas and live on BLM or Crown land you can live pretty cheaply. It is the outfitting that costs money. But a lot of that can just be stuff from your home too.

@@out-spokenwheelsonwheels5870 Actually in Wisconsin USA - but found I qualify as a First Nation person and could be on one of the First Nation lands. Don't wish to move but may look up camping there (in late summer or fall!) I've all kinds of stuff to use in the SUV for camping that's in my house.

Maybe you could reach out to Jeffie Bear. He recently lost his legs from diabetes and wants to get back into van life. He is on youtube. Your video is great and you seem to have it figured out. Thanks for sharing and I will be following your journey.

Yes I have tried to reach out to him with no success. He is now in Ontario so quite far away from me. Maybe someday.
