Marquez seems like a good kid though. I have no problem with him being Moto GP champion. He doesn't seem to have the ego like the other GP guys. He simply wins and is graciousa and polite.
I still don't think some of the top Moto GP stars would be where they are at in the standings if they were riding real machines, non-computer traction controlled bikes. Some would do as well, others wouldn't. But I'd like to see the traction control limited so the real skills of the riders come out more.
Michael Schultz I agree with you. And I guess most GP fans also agree that electronics killed the show! But also I don't see Marquez as the typical computer controlled bike pilot. That was the reason why he won the championship. His aggressive style went behond the limits of computer controlled safety.
Baker buscaba especatculo, rodar juntos... marquez en cambio iba a saco a por la victoria, como siempre a ganar! me encanta este pique! el año que viene no se estaran por ostias jaja If Marquez wins the MotoGp Champ in his first year, I think he also can win the USA dirt track in the first year. If not, the second for sure! ;P
MotoGP and DirtTrack, like Rugby and American football... Similar yet sooo different. Fully agree with Neal DoubleAA and 50519. Baker was "kind" enough to let Marquez bump him and push him to the outside during the race without retaliating. It looked like a pro boxer sparing with an amateur and while fighting, making sure not to KO the amateur. At 6:40, you can clearly see Marquez slam into Baker who held a straight line, all well before the turn. And I am pretty sure Baker was probably freaking out thinking he might have been involved in injuring GP wonder Marquez. He even STOPPED in the curve (6:48) to look if Marquez was ok..Seeing him get up, he started racing again... and won ... loll. By the way, I am very very surprised Marquez contract with Repsol / Honda lets him participate in such events. If he hurt himself, that would be a disaster.
Si Baker no le llega a meter codo Marc se lo come!!! jaja k grande es Marquez!!! la verdad es que disfrutamos y lo pasamos genial!! el año k viene masss!!
Baker= USA Champion of dirt track. It was unfortunate Marquez went down but if you watch the race he was a bit squirrly in the exact same spot they came into contact and went down, on many of the previous laps. Racing is racing, sometimes there's contact. It definitely didn't look intentional but that's dirt track racing, sometimes you bump. Too bad Nicky Hayden wasn't invited.
Baker was just stroking it to make it look like a race. Everyone knows circle track is the hardest discipline in racing . That's why you never see road race guys go to dirt track. But you do see dirt track guys do quite well in road racing. King Kenny comes to mind, and Mario, who started out on dirt ovals and won the Formula 1 championship. Marc did look good though, with a few years practice he might be a force in mile dirt tracks.
An exciting race! Shame Marquez went down. But the winner was the faster guy in the day.... Marquez tried to be clever but was just in the way. Baker looked in total control from the off to me. Marquez= amazing talent. Maybe he will learn from this. Usually it's him dishing it out. Lol.
It is difficult to pass someone on the inside, i dont think anyone here playing around, they are racing, i know how it feel. It looks normal for marc riding style anyway, why would some people said he was out of control? That is how he slid his bike, i dont find it strange.
In flat track racing the standard line is to setup as wide and turn in as late as possible. It will give you the best drive out on the corner. If you watch the race you see Brad Baker use that method of taking the corner vs Marquez and the other newbies who turn in much earlier, taking a shorter line but coming out wide on the corner and sacrificing exit speed. Thus, why Marquez would push Baker into the wall at the exit of the turn. AND why Marquez wrecked, he turned right into Baker as Marquez was using his non dirt track pro style of turning it very early.
Obviously you know nothing about dirt track racing or any type of racing. Have you ever raced or been on a track for that matter? Watch it again. You'll see that in that same area the rookie dirt tracker Marquez, who would turn in early would get out of line.
Michael Schultz I know enough to see that baker goes for the inside, never able to make the corner in a proper way because of the simple fact that Marc's bike would prevent bakers rear wheel stepping out simply because they are side by side. The reason baker looks back 20 times says it all.

Michael Schultz some of them are asking to limit the TCS, Valentino for example

The crash looked intentional. Wild style riding does win races.
2014 and the highest quality option is 360??? Ridiculous.
Pretty neat!

I think Brad was playing around with Marc, but still impressed with marquez. The kid is just fast period
Baker!! nasty move on Marquez!

Hayden underwent surgery recently and was physically unable to participate.
Yeah I just read that on Hayden's Facebook.
Accidente, casi le saca la cabeza de un codazo jajajaj Increible el pendejo le peleo de igual a igual!

Ok but Marc beat Baker in 2016.

Where is his gopro, disappeared during the crash? ?!!

MARQUEZ WINNER , RED CARD TO BAKER , FAULT BAKER!!!
Baker was quicker
PUTA baker.

Michael Schultz Thats a long story to defend somebody who knocked Marc off.
