Hillegersberg 1 - Oliveo 1 Report 2nd class Amateur Football Match

The second league match for Oliveo 1 against the always strong Hillegersberg took place in the 2nd Division D. Photos:
Hillegersberg was not without danger in the first half, perhaps even more dangerous than Oliveo, but no real chances were created. Then, late in the first half, Oliveo scored their first goal. Max delivered a sharp cross from the right flank, which was perfectly
headed in by our striker, Noah, resulting in a 1-0 lead for the visitors. It was a splendid header, and the goalkeeper had no chance. By the way, their goalkeeper had to work hard in the second half.
In the second half, Hillegersberg slowly but surely lost control of the match. Then, from a corner, Oliveo scored again. It was 2-0 in the middle of the second half. PP made a sharp save, but aside from that, our defenders kept Hillegersberg from scoring, and there was more and more space for counter-attacks, unfortunately without a result.
It was a fine match, in which we once again collected 3 points, and based on our goal difference, we are now at the top of the 2nd Division D. You can view the standings at this link:

A terrific start. Next week, we have another away match, this time against DHC 1 in Delft.
