Short Story, Switchfoot has played several times in my City. Florida Theater about 1900 seats, Metro Park around 30,000+, but they also played a small venue at Murray Hill theater which sold out at 500 because the Fire Marshals came and shut it down. The show went on but there was maybe 500 more people outside. Basically Switchfoot still plays small places and that is one of the reasons I love the so much. They love their fans.
Yes they do love fans and people... Love the way they have showcased Tiggy and other people struggling or little amazing musicians Ezra so adorable...Jon. Tim. Chad Drew & Jerome are some of the nicest most humble dudes. I used to volunteer at the creation festivals in Washington state in Hospitality so I would serve these kool guys food the Creation meatballs "not creation without meatballs." And even though technically we weren't supposed to chat them up if they would engage in conversation with me I'm not going to be a bump on a log and not talk to them So many stories of the that's seven+ years I volunteered when they were playing. Just such such real guys if you want to watch a really good show the Miami in the tropical storm August 2017. Bayfront amazing amazing show the best Switchfoot show I've ever seen in maybe 25 +. Miss seeing them live so much but I feel blessed by the FNTMS because we have actually been able to see all the stuff that goes on with them talking and joking and laughing and just having a great time like best friends do. It has been a rare glimpse of the best thing that has come out of covid-19 for me.
was there that night my first show ever and most favorite not even topped by my favorite band Jon was standing right in front of me literally within 2 feet of me before and while he was singing restless one of the best nights of my life without a doubt just waiting for fading west now
