I like what Jim said about grades. It seems arguable that most people climb because they like a challenge. As you become proficient at a certain level, the challenge drops off so you either get bored or you find something harder! I feel like it's less about the number and more about the challenge.
In addition, often times, the movement and the rock is very anesthetic on hard climbs! It just looks cool!

Some of BlackDiamond's product placements are over the top, in-your-face, annoying. This one was fine since the focus was on the climber not on the equipment. Some of these have been 70% product with a frosting slather of the athlete. Much better this go... probably due to Wedge and not the corporate marketing department.
