      It's so funny to start with a budget vehicle but add crazy expensive parts in some places and then I'll try to find some budget upgrades as well. Just interesting how some stuff doubles or triples the investment in the truck!

    How much difference in handling did you notice with this bumper?

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  2 года назад

      I put a couple of turns on the torsion keys to account for the weight and it drives fantastic.

    What did you do with the old bumpers? I would like to buy the rear bumper if it is in good condition 👍

      I still have the rear bumper on and the front bumper went to the recycle center.

    That bumper is more expensive than my 99 denali is worth

    • @AutoEdits
      @AutoEdits  3 года назад

      Yeah, good bumpers aren't cheap. The "pre-runner" bumper on my Ram cost more than this thing and I can't even mount a winch in it. So I'm pretty happy that I have the strength and practicality in this one and it will last the rest of the life of this project.

      Truth! Buckstop makes a REALLY cool rear option but we have to see when I can swing that option... get it... "swing"... as in swing out tire carrier... LOL

      I hear you... it isn't "high clearance" by any means but I do appreciate the winch being low and tucked way in there. This thing is designed as a bruiser style instead of a nimble tube thing. Thanks for commenting with your honest opinion!
