- Simeon vs Morgan Park is the Game of the Year when it comes to Chicago high school basketball! The Red South conference rivals meet in the "Battle on Vincennes" each season. This year they met in Morgan Park's TINY gym. The soldout crowd was LIT from when doors opened. Birthday boy Adam Miller aka Ace Wolf (Illinois), Marcus Watson (Wake Forest) and Brandon Weston had Morgan Park up big early. Jeremiah Williams, Ahamad Bynum, Jaylen Drane and Aviyon Morris led Simeon back. Freshmen JJ Taylor (Morgan Park) and Jaylen Griffith (Simeon) both contributed in their first experience in this heated Chicago basketball rivalry. In the end, unsigned senior Jeremiah Williams hit a last second shot to win it for the visiting Wolverines but you have to watch the full highlights to appreciate how intense Chicago Public League high school basketball is on a nightly and yearly basis. These 2 rivals could meet again in February in the Chicago city playoffs.
