I think they did Sam dirty, too. "time's different in heaven" Bobby says, so it's just a Sunday drive until Sam's with him again. Meanwhile, Sam's grieving Dean and suffering the indignities of old age before he gets to reunite with everyone, AND leave a son named Dean behind.

Not as dirty as jack, roofus, or bobby tho. Let's not forget the legendary Rowena was also done really dirty along with her son. And her grandson. I still laugh when I hear: "YOU SOLD YOUR SOUL FOR 3 EXTRA INCHES OF WILLY?!"

I was slowly dying and when Dean was dying I was feeling nauseaus. Like literally, physically I almost vomited. Now I cope with vids like this 😅👌
I kept checking the time thinking "this is bad, this is bad.. time is running out, how are they going to save this episode??". The two Carry on montages also killed me.

I watched it on 4x speed. Don't even care what they were all talking about; the death part was dragged out for far too long and the rest of it... For me it'll always be 15x19.
The montage at the end of 15x19 would have been a perfect way to end the finale. Instead we got them standing on a bridge alone without any of their friends

Cas is in heaven. Chuck is on Earth as a human essentially.
Cas is in heaven and alive (sound absurd but he is an angel so who knows) since he helped rebuild it with Jack. You think Jack yanked Cas from empty, they rebuild heaven and he's just back to empty? 🤭
And Chuck is human now so he is alive too. Although after 40 years idk maybe already died.

Well I'm assuming that Dean it getting to grow old had nothing to do with the refusal to wear a wig. Jensen literally had to be talked into liking that ending.

Misha did say in a interview that the ending was very different from what they did. Due to COVID they had to do an alternative ending... which is what we saw.
I have a feeling the ending they originally were going to do... was gonna be the ending all us fans wanted.
Edit: They definitely needed a better send off than that. - I hope there will be a spin off in the future!

I want everyone to know that I havent watched this show since season 11 and had no idea it was still running, so when Distil became canon (sort of) on November 5th 2020 I was
1) incredibly shocked
2) disappointed bc wtf do you mean after 15 SEASONS Dean still isnt capable of emoting
3) so sorry for people who watched this shit from the start and were hyped
4) laughing my ass off bc HUH

the finale gave chuck exactly what he wanted this was his true ending dean dies during first hunt after his defeat and sam becomes old and useless other characters forgotten chuck lied about not knowing the end it was his plan he was done and wanted out
Hey, dammit! "Old" does not mean "useless"! Is there any question that Sam was certainly a good husband to his wife, or a good father? Is there any question that Sam, even if he didn't live a hunter's life, led a constructive life doing something good for people? There are numerous things to dislike about the finale, but Sam's lifetime is not one of them.

Seriously, what happened to "sand between our toes"? Why hint at that being a possibility and then killing him. He wanted to live. No one will convince me that he didn't.
Let's just pretend E20 doesn't exist, and the real ending was E19 with the montage of all the people over the years and Sam and Dean driving away, free. Jack brought back all the people, but no monsters, so they can go to the beach and dig their toes in the sand. And in a few years, for a re-boot, something escapes from hell and Rowena calls Dean and Sam out of retirement; Jack resurrects Cas to help them. And we'll never speak of E20 again.

Can anyone clarify something for me? After Jack becomes god he peaces out like these people aren't his family and they still allowed to die in stupidest ways without him interfering, right? And yet he still interfered in Castiel's fate and at some point busted him out of the Empty, right? Out of familial love, I presume. I guess Castiel was his favorite dad, lol. So, it is within the boundaries of Jack's power to save Castiel from the Empty, but for some reason it takes enough time for Dean to fucking die, before Castiel can be revived and completely eliminate any possibility of Dean dying untimely death. Wait, no. It was said Castiel was helping with heaven, so he was out for some time since Jack became god and until Dean died. So is it implied Castiel got out of the Empty and didn't go straight to Winchesters to see that they are fine and to tell Dean he's fine, since he knows Dean "everyone around me dies" Winchester probably thinks it's his fault the angel died? So, is it implied Cas thought: "nah, better to redecorate heaven, I really don't want to see the guy I died for"? Is this how it went down? This script, lol.

@@waywardone6742 -- I liked the toast. Not so much the toast per se, as the fact that Sam looks around half-expecting to see Dean come get it and has to remember, yet again, no, he's gone. It's very true to bereavement.
Okay but I was so excited for the last episode because Jack is God!!! God can do anything!! Hes going to bring Cass back. And then bam Dean is dying. I was like oh oka- well Jack is gonna save him easy.... ?? And then nothing.
Now I hate this ending just as much as the next person. SO INFURIATING.... but, let's not forget the last couple of episodes of Supernatural were during COVID and they could only do so much. But still... very frustrating.

Okay, I have so much to say about finale and only my limited knowledge of English stops me. But what I definetely can say is W H A T.
I don't know what I expected from final of SPN, because I didn't watch last three seasons, but I totally wasn't ready for what we have right now.
I also see lots of people, who really liked it, and honestly I can't blame them because of two things:
1. It's their opinion based on their view characters, characters' relationships etc.
2. Our current situation with coronavirus affects on film industry. It's their comments about how perfect this final is, which make me feel many different emotions that far from understanding because... You know, that's what I can say.
