Bought one 2 years ago. Put 4K miles on it and loved every minute. More HP than a 1200 Sportster and a couple of hundred pounds less. What a joy to ride!
This might be my next bike!! I'd love to buy a bike from you guys! Love that you guys put your faith right in the forefront. Amen to your words of wisdom!
This is the best bike review you’ve done thus far! Love seeing new scenery too...I think you should add the corn field side trip to all your videos! I’ve been curious about the Ducati myself but concerned about the frequency and cost of maintenance.
Yeah I'd bet it's the same guy in that truck... they drive like that down here in the Carolinas. My younger brother just started riding and picked a new Yami Mt-07. what a awesome little bike and that cross plane crank mill is a sweet one.... cant get enough of that low to mid range pull. I told him to have the mindset that no one is paying attention and to always have a way out if he gets surrounded by cagers. Ride safe Brothers
It's a nice bike for puttering around but they just upgraded the engine to 1100cc this year. Here's a question I hope someone can answer. If car manufacturers can make engines that can go for let's say, 100k miles and never need valve adjustments and such, why are bikes more prone to it? Shouldn't the design technology from auto engine manufacturing be adopted already?
thats a great question. I dont have an answer to you. although it coulod have something to do with the fact that they put out a larger amount of power per displacement and the engines are set to tighter tolerances, because they often rev higher than cars? maybe. but i would like to hear an expert answer that question also
You might be the guy to help me decide the ultimate question. At least for me.... I have been eyeballing these for awhile now and I’m very interested in buying one now in my past I’ve had 2 harleys a Yamaha and a Kawasaki all cruisers but my first love was the dirt bike started on a Yamaha pw50 then a honda xr100 then a yz125 then to cruisers and now can’t decide if I want to get a scrambler or another cruiser most of my riding is local rural small town Kansas riding to and from work less than 20 miles one way. I guess just wondering what your input would be thanks
I love watching to see how different things are over there. That paddock you went in, A. the farmer would go after you and B. it would have so many kangaroos there is no chance you can find something like that without a fence.
Awesome review bro. You nearly sold me. In need of a supermoto. Grab a ktm 690 Enduro for me. 16 and up. I got 7k for you. Probably not enough, but dang close.
Lol do you like riding tricycles? What kinda question is that, bro. At your height you need something with a tall riding height, maybe thick tires too. This this will make you look like a clown on a little bike.
Well, I gotta say, man. Its kinda silly to even dream of making this an everyday bike for someone at your height. You'd look like you were riding a tricycle if you got this bike is what I'm trying to day. But hey, if you want to look goofy, go for it. @@LongRon6969
I farm, I always have. I don't really have any other skill set, and probably never will. I watch your channel religiously. Not because I have to, but because I want to. It obvious that you have a code of ethics and morals, and that's nice to see these days. BUT,(unless you had prior permission) when you rode through that field, you lost a lot of respect in my eyes. Ask one of us and 8/10 times we'll say go ahead. But ask first. Did it hurt anything? Probably not. That's not the point though.
How tall are you, Sean? You seem about my height and build on screen. I am thinking about one of these to replace my Yamaha MT-01 and Buell XB12X; one bike to go on the road and do light offroad. Enough room on it for you? 0-60 time: I'd say 3.5 seconds.
i have REALLY thought about getting one of these. same performance envelope of my bmw r1100r, but much lighter, which has not escaped my notice. i like the OD green one - the urban enduro. would go well with my usaf superhero helmet, and cammo hein gericke jacket 💕
I like that the sound of my dry clutch confuses everyone. Is it broke? Meh, it might blow any minute. $100 says I can out run ya. Guy looses and calls my bike rusty tambourine. Lol
please no... the exhaust is too low for the price you can get a bmw gs. v strom from suzuki or yamaha tenere. if you wanna take it to an adventure good luck repairing a ducati in a third world country
Dude unless you already do you should consider wearing earplugs Bro as much riding as you do you will be deaf !!! Just looking out my brudda ! Thanks Mike
No! The Ducati dry clutch is a symphony of metal parts banging against each other, like a bucket of nails being held by someone having a seizure. I had a clinically quiet, smooth and cushy BMW adventure bike and it was like geriatric thrill seeking. Too, too tame and well, utterly boring. A bike should abrade your senses - all of them. It should be thrilling and exciting with no compromise towards comfort; just a pure sensory overload device.
Thats a fun bike but in mho if u will use it for anything other than twisty roads/city riding close to home its just not up for the job, sure it can do it but short range, buzzy on the highway, pretty expensive maintainance cost(in sweden at least) made me get rid of it. Im not saying i didnt have fun, i had tons of fun, but i also had a sore(?) butt, pain in my knees due to the seating position. We spent 10000 miles together one summer and I miss some parts of it but not that much.
Vad kostade service i snitt?

had a 1971 scrambler 450 in 71 and I tell you haven't had as much fun on a bike as I did with that one. I loved my 450 Duke.
Ducati should bring it back, plus the 450R/T!
Rented one in Cali once. Had a blast! Such a tight bike with character.
Hey I’m going to Cali soon for vacation. How did you rent it?
More corn field PLEASE! That was great. You sir, are a free spirit.
wow just seeing you jump off the road really makes me want this bike.
Just purchased one today. Can’t wait to get it out

Can you do a test ride on a Vmax if possible?
Before you talked about Caleb i had a dejavu moment. Thought i watched this video already
I owned a 2015. Had to replace the clutch every 10,000 miles, but it was a good commuter.

Because motorcycle engines are smaller, lighter , high revs, and higher performance overall
Only one bike? Impossible! If I had to have only one, it would either be a new Harley softail, or the Moto Guzzi V85TT
People: so, why did you decide to get a motorcycle
Me: so I can stay cold.....

3:55, Sean is a menace to society. I'm calling the cops.

They are simply amazing !
is ducati the first company that brought the name scrambler into the mass production ?

Is this bike on the small side?
Yeah them dry clutches sound terrible. My '97 750SS has a wet clutch nice and quiet. Great review, thanks.
The way that the footrests are, those goofy high handlebars put you in an all-wrong posture. Low, clubman bars make everything make sense.
Would you recommend this bike for really tall riders, I’m 6’7”. I’m looking to get my first bike and I’m really set on the Scrambler
Get a proper dualsport, you can probably flat foot all of them. Put some 80/20 tires on it and you'll be good to go.

Neat bike but once I got a cruiser with a windscreen it makes riding 10X more fun. 👍

dry clutches rule. my Guzzi has one also.

For sure not ducati if you respect your self and know about motorcycles!
I take back my comment about Calebs truck encounter earlier this year, trying to balance the incident. The drivers there are absolute rubbish.
