Sysco will work your ass and they don’t care if you quit bc new mfs will come and fill that spot and as quickly as they come they go after realizing how hard it is haha
I have my Class A but no experience and I’m really not trying to go OTR I have 3 kids I just got a call from Sysco they said I’ll get another call in 2-3 business days from a hiring manager before I got my Class A I was loading and unloading trailers for minimum wage I’m really hoping they call me
Sysco, Los Angeles is union, so the contract pay is 30.38. This was negotiated before Covid. Once the contract is up for renew the pay will increase because we drivers know we are under payed. We can’t break a contract, so we are stuck with the current pay.
They don't drive all those hours because the unload the truck so they work 100+ hours in two weeks. I thought the same thing but doesn't apply fully to touch freight
True facts … your going to work 12-14 hr days… the hustle is real and once that trailer is completely empty it’s rewarding I’ll admit ..
