Nice video! For a domestic application though, I don’t see any added value to implement DALI in a KNX installation, rather than adding cost and complexity. Everything really needed in a single house automation is already feasible with KNX for me…will you agree @Theben_AG?
Hello @mattiamoranduzzo9417, thank you for your comment. KNX is definitely a perfect solution to control all kind of functions within a (domestic or commercial/public) building - including lights. In commercial building DALI light control is already be used oftenly in combination with KNX as BMS therefore KNX-DALI-Gateway is a very good solution. Anyhow we are getting lot of feedback from various countries reporting a clear trend that DALI will also be used more often in domestic installations as well. So for these new markets and customers we want to offer an appropriate solution with a combination of KNX & DALI. I hope we could help you. :) Theben AG
