This makes me feel like crying... Memories. I was born in 1993, and this Barbie is one of the very first I've had, I had it when it came out, circa 1995 or 1996. Ever since, she's always been my favourite, although I never really knew why. She's not the most sophisticated among the numerous Barbies I possessed (and still have to this day). But I think that her simplicity has always been part of what I like the most from her. And something is so unique about her. Oh and I loved her necklace with the red apple as a child ❤.
I never got Barbies as a kid cause I "wasn't a girl" and when I read your comment I was like "how can she remember something from the time she was 4?' since all my memories with toys for boys were probably boring enough for me to remember, I did played with toys for boys for sure but I just didn't care enough to even form a decent memory, so I assumed no one has clear memories from their toddler years........ But reading this I remembered when my cousin got a Barbie with trolls that was so trendy in 1993, I remember all the little details and I saw that doll only one time in my life when she was opening the box at my house, I wasn't allowed to play with it but I remembered the Barbie and her accessories, and I was like 4 !!!!! Can't imagine myself getting a Barbie as a present back then, I would've been the happiest kid !!!!!!
She's really pretty ! I love that her outfit is separate pieces! I noticed they used the same boots as the Supertalk Barbie , Soul Train Shani uses those boots as well 😀
I'm a fan of the bend and click legs too! What happened to that style?? The hard plastic legs that don't bend are awful and cheap. You put them in a chair and their legs stick straight out. They don't sit well like that. Really wish they would go back to that kind of legs, at least for some of the dolls. Thanks for the videos!
That face, that hair and real buckles on the skirt. This is how Barbie should be, and she comes with a hair brush.
