I feel like they weren't putting as much energy into the moves because the space was so small and they were scared of hitting something/someone. Seriously though, for a dance show you would expect the performance area to be a little bigger...
For a lot of Aussie dancers , we would be lucky to get a stage this big ! Most stages are barely 5.5m by 5m ! The biggest I've competed on was only 8m by 7m ahhh , I'm so jealous of most American stages lmao
because they didn't have the exact things that they had at the competion and i was at the acutal comp and that was the original coustumes (except the tatto) and when the camera man/people were doing all the close ups the audience and judges left the room ( that was the version they showed on the show )
They didn't have space, no forth effort to the dance but they did well Abby was probably mad at them but would say that they worked hard for what they did
That’s such a small space to do a big dance like this. And obviously they were very tired. I think nia, Kendal and Maddie were the only ones who put effort and looked at least a little bit how they looked when first preforming it.

And how they could wake up at 5am , film for tv show which has a lot of drama , spend their whole day dancing, getting yelled at by teachers and their friend’s mothers, and , cope with all their moms fights everyday and still make a great performance every week is really challenging but they still did that for around six years of their life just about every day ! That is really hard and stressful and after all their hard work you give them hate! If u have anything rotten to say then leave
Dance moms is years old, like Maddie who is one of the originals started the show as an eight year old and she is now sixteen, the show ran for years and then ended on season seven. None of the original cast really like talking about the show because of how mentally abusive it was for the girls, but season eight just came out a few months ago with a completely new group of girls
