I tried to bargain to see how these people bargain with the customers. I paid more than $2,500 for a Louis Viton handbag. The fake bag vendor asked me $120 for a replica of that bag. I told him I had only $50 cash with me. He tried to negotiate $80 and told me to send Zelle or Venmo money to him. I refused. Then he agreed to $50.
Selling fake designer-brand counterfeited handbags in New York City is risky for the vendors and not for the buyer. The fake bag vendors have a strong network. Their security people are standing on every corner of the block. When they see the police officer, they pack the sheet where they have displayed the bags and run within a minute.
End of 2023, a New York City bust became the largest seizure of counterfeit goods in U.S. history after authorities found $1 billion in fake designer goods in New York. Around 219,000 items were seized from Manhattan storage.

Caviar leather feels more durable and looks more casual. I own both caviar leather and lambskin and love them both. Lambskin leather is tougher than it looks. My handbag is 8 years old and still sparkling with little signs of wear and I wear it at least 6 days a month. *condup*

No one would believe it was fake if they were wearing it themselves... I had a passenger in first class wearing fake Hermès Orans. She told me yes. If I don't say it, I can't tell its authenticity. I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. I know people who own a lot of real luxury brands but they live in their mom's house. I own my own house and drive a Lexus, I do buy real mid-size luxury cars but anything over $1000 I buy a *esluxy* knockoff and keep the money in my pocket.

Super fake package PTSD is real. I thought I bought an authentic LV Weekend Tote GM on eBay, when I opened the box I immediately thought I bought a fake: there was no foil stamping, the bottom did not match the picture, and the "dust bag" was torn and flimsy, but I The handbag I bought at *amzrepe* looks authentic: the hardware, the zippers, and especially the canvas. I sent it back and only got a partial refund, but am glad I don't have a AAA super fake on my hands. I have never bought LV since then.
