An AWFUL Start to Atlanthian City - Loomian Legacy Nuzlocke (Episode 13)

- Today I finally continue my Roblox Loomain Legacy Nuzlocke challenge because they have finally added Atlanthian City! After continuing the story and playing around with some of the update's new features, like the Atlanthian Arcade and the Lucky Wheel, I take on the first battle of Atlanthian City: Meredin, and already encounter major issues with him. I was quite under leveled and the majority of my Loomians were weak to his. Will I have enough to defeat him, or will my team members perish?

Nuzlocke Rules:
If a Loomian faints, it is no longer usable throughout the rest of the play through.
I can only catch the first Loomian I find for each route, if I defeat the Loomian I can no longer get a Loomian for that route.
I must nickname every Loomian I catch.
I can only use one potion per battle.

The battle stars are incredibly tough. Their loomains are in their 40’s and it’s a double battle. I heavily recommend training quite a bit. Edit: They even have competitive items… be careful.
It took me a few tries, then grinder to get a boonary and copied the first loomian on the left so I could poison them all and have spikes and it ruined the final loomians with poison
I did it first try but it was a close fight

Quick note: The battle theatre focuses on double battles, so if you don’t have a good plan this may very well be the end of the nuzlocke.

He's going to have to probably get all of his loomians near level 45 to avoid getting absolutely demolished. His first 2 loomians should probably be thanos and terrafly since poison moves are effective against water types.

That’s why I took such along time grinding up loomians that were effective against the water types. (And the fact that I spent a shit ton of time trying to find Gobbidemic and Wildile.)
Diamond, if you see this before attempting to beat the 4th Battle Theatre, PLEASE LEVEL UP YOUR LOOMIANS. The Loomians in there are so powerful, it's crazy. Great episode btw!

For me and a friend of mine, we both struggled A LOT on this even though we prepared with good teams like having Kanki (R.I.P Claw) and other things that you'd expect to be effective for the Battle Theatre. (By the way, our stats were to the max, literally. So, that says something.)
@@TheConfidentDiamond u might want to learn the difference between melee attack/defense and ranged attack/defense.
My Mutagon and my Wresolen destroyed that battle theatre but that man is right if you don't use roamings

Gardrone is a ranged attacker and they were using range moves clawber was boosting its MELEE defense I don’t get how he missed that if he payed attention clawber wouldn’t have died as well as ezeincointer
Clawd used bulk up to raise MELEE defense and attack, but the veylens used a RANGED move. So it died

The gymbattle is pretty rough since its a double battle, But I have a few tips
If you have a loomian with the move poison or poisonous barbs you can set up and can rely on poison to kill when you need to swap, setup, or rest, the enemy has poisonous barbs on their sea-slug thingy so try to kill it quick
Electric types are strong against water offensively but also weak defensively, I would use poison and grass types. look for moves that effect everything on the battle field, Earthquake is one of them (Your ugly koala will learn it at level 40 i think) , so if you bring a flying type out with a loomian with EQ your flying type wont take damage and you can attack both of the opposing loomians, though im not sure how effective it will be
The puzzles were so hard but the litteral battles were so easy
I only used Joltooth and Ursoul for the battle (I also used some meds :v)
I used snagoop and whipledriff. Idiot Deludrix t strike on my already chipped snagoop when axolotl baited and it died.
I took my revenge later.
Mutagon + 2 brawn boosts + his attack that attacks all = fun but to have more fun zuelong with tunder storm
While you should definitely level up your team to level 40-41 at least (to make sure your not over leveled for the theatre); levels aren't the only thing that matters. Your plan and overall team needs a rework; and funny enough Meredin gave you the perfect chance to do so! I'm glad you considered using the pearls and are interested in the items from the arcade.
Side note: I'm curious if the next episode will be mainly you experiencing the story; and then saving the battle theatre for a final third episode. Most of this update is very story/lore heavy. (pretty much like how you have a set of 3 episodes every segment of the game)

Love how it says on the Ocean bed but when i accidentally glitched out there was no land!
Diamond, I recommend leveling up a bit and buy arcade prizes. You can buy a clutch plushie to your weakest loomian so that it can withstand an attack that would otherwise knock it out. I recommend getting a boonary in the arcade because when it enters the battle, it will copy the opponent's loomian and it's moveset. You should get burroach, poochrol, or boonary on your team.
You could also buy some move manuals like bulk up or peace of mind so that you have buff stat moves.
that punish with clawd was legitimately so deserved
ps get dodge because if this double battle im hearing of is so difficult a move that replicates protect is your best friend

2 Tips for the battle theatre 1. Dont get over confident if you do ur done for 2. make sure you can ensure kills with any loomians because most of them are insanely bulky best of luck

IF YOU HAVE ELECTRIC TYPES BRING THEM FOR THE GYM. Also they are double battles so good luck on that one
And this is why, guys, you need to max up your loomians. My loomians didn't win against the corrupt samarine battle til I leveled them up to 43
while I agree I need to level up my loomians some, leveling them to the max would make it too easy and I just prefer not to play it that way. That way there's actually risk involved and it's not just me one-shoting everything, which would be very boring to watch in my opinion

@@randomguy2938 battle star looms are about lvl 45, diamond lost two when he was only 1-2 levels beneath, so it would be smart to level up to about level 45

I'd really consider adding Poochrol to the team, Hunder will be an absolute (possibly) beast at the battle theatre!
Yeah, Hunder and Buuroach. Buuroach gains some poison type moves like venom chomp when leveled up enough and hunder is good for electric type moves. HOWEVER, He has to be really careful when using Hunder. Water-type moves can deal a lot of damage to electric types.
RIP Clawd he wasnt here for long but isnt forgotten.
Oh and EzEncointer he was a good member.. stupid gardrone
I have some help for you first : kittone can be very helpful cuz the evolution is fast. Second: the battle stars have level 40 something loomians and have a pvp like team so grind alot. Third: boonary is like a ditto but transforms when he starts the battle.
The Boonary I have is a 5-star on basically every stat. It is basically god. Especially because it can transform into an opposing loomian
You should check LL Wiki and get all good Arcade items and MMs since trainers will now have PvP items like Power Cuffs or Essences which won't be obtainable from the main game because it would crush the economy or something. MM, Pearls, Shells and Plushies will be the only way for you to complete this Nuzlocke, probably.
btw. Do you accept getting rally moves like Slap Down from deceased Loomian to alive one, cuz that could make Athlantian easier.
Hey Confident, an idea or request, when you beat every theatre, use the dead loomians you have and rebattle the theatre once again
like no 1k, less go, gluck on the rest of the run
When I did my nuzlocke in Atlanthian, I lost my Lumica (death fodder) and my Boarrok to the chef, but didn’t lose any loomians to the battle star. Also I accidentally crit one shot a wild Kittone.
You should probably have a plan for the battle theatre and a back up plan if that plan doesn't work, also you can get battle items, mms and if you can, get boonary which is basically ditto in the arcade.
You can get oxidrake to learn bulk up, if you don't know how to get one, you can look up on youtube how to get one. Ps: The getting oxidrake idea was from Darnhector.

The emotional damage from that battle is strong
Add kittone to your team, it evolves at lvl 27 and use: Peace of mind, Rant High pitch screech and harmious chord
if it has Tone Deaf as ability, you will shred if you can tank hits
hello confident diamond i have been watching ur nuzlocke for a while now but i must warn u the atlanthian battle theatre is no joke the do double battles and some of the puzzles are kinda hard the battle stars also have pvp iteams also add kittone and place thanos on the front lines and also grind because ur very under level for the battle theatre

it wouldn't be because of the team eclipse encounter in anthian because when team eclipse set bombs in anthian city, us and Tess used Palkia and Dialga to defuse the bombs in time, unless we are in an alternate universe or something

also you dont need Bubble to hold the drop of youth, since it evolves with a item called thunderfruits
Also fun fact the Anthian City Gallin reference is when team eclipse plants the bombs in it in Pokémon brick bronze but in this universe you don’t stop the bombs unlike you did in brick bronze

Hey hopefully u haven't started the theatre already because there are these things called clutch plushies which is like focus sash it could def help u I recommend it but it takes a lot of time to get if u get one for whole team

Here is the tips of the theatre battle use a loomain that have poison type / poison barbs power this will carry your team cuz most of their loomian are very weak to poison
Just wait until the sushi battle ( I lost 2 level 40 loomajsn) and the gym battle, I didn't lose anything in gym since I had the plush that stops death like focus sash but it would've killed
Btw, go to coloso-chops last, the chef has a pvp colosotrops
My non pvp colosotrops swept him. But yeah no get a level 48 colosotrops for easy wins
this is my list of IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO BEFORE THE THEATER
1. level up your loomians
2. grinds the arcade for the plushies,shells etc
3. get prepared for the double battles in the theater

i feel like they made the new areas really hard so that its a bit of a challenge for good players but for casuals its extremely hard

to be honest i had no trouble with the battke theater at all it was easy for me i used lumelo to set up and than wiped the battle stars with obstructigon i figured the loomians would be level 40 so i wasnt suprised we had alot of time to prepare if your in athlanthian city it shouldnt be a struggle

You should add kittone and chompactor to the team
There's a rebattle able trainer in atlanthian prepare your self for fourth battle theatre
Use KitKat and Dumb baby, also I suggest booting bubble off the team and replacing him with pawpatrol
Edit:I suggest giving thanos the Rageful plush, his ability will half the power of the first attack he gets hit by, which if it is 2x effective than it will be neutral

Just a tip: ripoffkakuna is a bug type but fire isn't super effective against bug. But I guess it had chilly chomp which is super effective

I recommend you add both kittone and poochrol, both of their evolutions are good and their defences aren’t as weak as clawd’s défense. Also kittone is only weak to 2 types, brawler and mind.

Go to the living district and find a trainer he has 3 level 36 vari evos if you train you team up on random encounters if you can youll get around usally 3.5k xp but there pretty strong and youll get posioned and burned alot
to add on to more pain the gym leader will sweep your team if you dont level them up they focus on double battle so gl and rip EZecounter and crab boi [ btw thanos can learn hypnotize it might help you later on in the game i have a thanos of my self and i got rid of power focus for hypnotize im not saying you should do that cause power focus on dyeborg is quite good]
