انا من مواليد أبوظبي ، بحكم عمل والدي باللسك عسكري آنذاك ، وبتلك سنوات بطفولتي التي شهدت هذه نهضة معماريه كنت اتفاخر بها بظني انها بلدي اصلي ومواطني الام ، وبعد عدة سنوات أدركت اننا مجرد وافدين للعمل حسب عقد معين وانتهى ونرجع لبلدنا ، راح هياطي في الفاضي حينها بعد اكتشاف الحقيقة بذلك 😂😂😂😂 كنت ماخذ بنفسي مقلب طوال فترة دراستي بمدارس جرن يافور والمصفح ،، انني من مواطني وابناء الإمارة... لما أشاهد هذه مناظر قديمة للإمارة لا اتمالك نفسي من البكاء ،، لأنها كانت جزء من أماكن طفولتي بتجوال مع أبي واسرتي ، الحمدلله على كل حال، خلاص كبرنا، وتغيرت الأحوال وانقلب الدهر ، حفظ الله دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة 🇦🇪.. وبذات أمارة طفولة والعمر الجميل أبوظبي 😭😭 ، صرت عابر سبيل بها فقط.
انا ذهبت ابوظبي في بدايت التسعينات وربي اني انصدمت من الجمال والنظافه والتطور بحيث بلدي قبل الامارات بالفين سنه ما فيها شارع ولا بنايات ليس العمر وإنما التفكير
In 5.41 the old al maria cinema theatre which was an open air theatre and next to it the new al maria cinema was the air conditioned...oppposit used to be the al khadra cinema and there was to be the eldorado cinema theatre which used to show english movies...there was an another open theatre called the al firdous cinema in the power house end of the corniche road where I saw the hindi movie sholay in 1975...good old days...
Dubai Deira cinema opened in 1966. Watched all 60s Indian movies there. Shammi Kapoor and others also visited Dubai in 1969, I have vivid memories of that
My Baloch/Balush clan including my father went to UAE from Makran, Balochistan in late 60s and early 70s for jobs and came back to native country after 50 years by serving UAE. Everyone says UAE is very diverse now, it was under Arab's and Balush's influence before.
From Nissan The lovely Datsun as follows: 120Y, 160J, 160&180b, and the bagarah 260C and the lovely skylines you name it Abu Dhabi is full of them at that time. and from Toyota Carina, Corona, Cressida, the crowns hhhhhhhehe What a waste we did not preserve any of them..
