I like how she keeps changing outfits between more formal bureaucratic attire to casual civilian clothes. Kinda symbolic of how she, as the secret police, can be anyone. You pass by her on the streets and she just looks like a normal teenage girl, then everything goes black as a bag is suddenly wrapped around your head from behind you. And when they remove the bag you're in a dark room that suddenly lights up and you see her again in a suit and tie ready to interrogate you for treason.
((Seriously, though. Just imagine that you were arrested for no reason, and you're dragged into a room filled with other prisoners. None of them /look/ dangerous though, just like you. What was their crime? You're confused, and a bit scared, and then you become aware of the stage. Is that... musical equipment? Speakers? You begin to grow out of your fear. Maybe this is a prank! Then a blue-haired girl walks out onto the stage, and the music starts. She begins singing, and everyone starts dancing, cheering, pumping their fists. Of course! This is just a set-up! You were falsely arrested, only to be brought to a concert! You expect you'll see this online later, so you look for cameras and wave when you find them. This is awesome! But then you begin to hear exactly what she's singing. In her cute little voice, the blue-haired girl is explaining that your life has been constantly monitored, and that you are being imprisoned because you're had anti-government notions. She's talking about the number of conspirators growing, and explaining how they found you, detailing every bit of it from start to finish. It makes your skin crawl, but everyone else is dancing, so you just go along with it. It's probably just some new song that they're trying to make a music video for. It keeps going, and going, and you keep dancing, trying to convince yourself that it's just a song. You almost do. The bars fall in front of you with a crash, and you find yourself imprisoned. Was this the grand finale? The lights are now dead, and all is deathly silent. What happened? The bars never raise.))

Ha yes time to ruin everyone's fun and start political discussion. Secret Police and other authoritarian elements aren't strictly Fascist. The Soviet Union had secret police, present day China has secret police, North Korea has secret police, etc. Fascism is an ideology that brands itself on perpetual war and conflict, not necessarily authoritarian. That being said, all Fascist nations that have existed so far (only 2, being Mussolini's Italy and Franco's Spain) have had a dictator. Anyway, Secret Police organisations can belong to any ideology, not just Fascism.
I remember a few years back I left a positive comment on a video of Tell Your World (I think) and was confronted by a guy who swore blind (both literally and figuratively) that Miku was a product of the Illuminati, that her videos were probably full subliminal messages, and that I was like a sheep for listening to her songs instead of believing him. I'm really glad that none of the roughly 20 or more people who confronted him about it mentioned either this song or This is the Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee before everyone lost interest in him and started to ignore him. Really. Thank you. As catchy as this is, I could only have imagined him blowing up. XD
A lot of people are making weird theories and jokes about the meaning of this song (which is totally fine!) but I want to step in and let y'all know that the secret police actually did exist in Japan mainly during ww2. They were called Kenpeitai and were basically a Japanese KGB- arresting and eliminating those suspected of being 'anti-Japanese' in any way. Imperial Japan was a scary country with arguably the worst record of human rights abuses and war crimes of any society due to the authoritarian and totalitarian government they created that worshiped the emperor as a god and saw itself as the 'only true Asians', giving them the right to do basically anything they wanted. Japan still denies a lot of these events even up until this day- for example, they refuse to acknowledge the Nanjing Massacre which killed an estimated 300,000 over the course of just over two weeks, often considered one of the most horrific events ever to occur. The human experimentation done on Chinese POWs at Unit 731 is mostly left untouched as well, in addition to the well known tradition of 'comfort women'. The 20th century was a very distressing era of human history, not just for Japan but for the world, and I would encourage anyone to take a look into it. It's important to be informed, as the past gives us a lot of insight into current events as well. I would, however, like to give a word of caution to those who plan to gain a deeper understanding of the human rights abuses during the Meiji Era- there are pictures and graphic primary sources that are quite disturbing. The current status of Japanese culture, society, and government is sort of a result of forcible American influence over the region following ww2, and they helped in some ways but did a lot of damage in a LOT of other ways. The whole cause and effect series of events of the early-mid 1900s is quite complicated, but good to know. The most important thing to do is to keep trying to make things better, but also to acknowledge our pasts in order to learn from them, respect victims, and move forward.
The Nanjing massacre was *HORRIFIC*. And I hate how Japan still denies it. Also when I first heard about comfort girls I wanted to cry and go on a rampage at the same time. How can anybody do shit like that?
Bro when I was younger I was just banging to this song and then just now I was thinking about this song and since I’m soo into Japanese history, I was thinking about the meaning of this song and I thought that she’s referring to the kempeitai🧐
Yup, Japanese citizens were largely victims of their own government and WW2 as a whole, dark times... but I also think shes singing in general, people keep bringing up the Stasi or KBG
If you get live Miku concerts in prison, I feel like some people would deliberately get themselves landed in jail.... Policeman: Sir, why did you attempt to rob a bank, then proceed to trip yourself on the curb as you ran away? Someone: I heard there are free Vocaloid concerts in prison. Policeman: *facepalm
I think this song was 100% made for Miku. With all of her different and creative outfits, it makes sense. Some of them even LOOK LIKE police-like outfits!!! GREAT VIDEO OVER ALL!!!! KEEP UP THE WORK!!!
Those prisoners seem to be having a lot of fun for being locked up, lmao. I love that they’re just jamming despite being told they’re always being watched. XD
it's kinda funny how i most likely wouldnt get anything from this kinda music normally, but just because is the singer Miku in this, it makes into something i can actually really enjoy. i didn't think before now that all a style of music which i typically don't enjoy, needed in order to become palatable to me, was making Miku the vocalist (and probably a few other musical choices)
A lot of lyrics for vocaloid songs would be seen as obscene in many other music genres, this is why I believe vocaloid to be more of a music niche rather than a genre
Me: I'll never tell you anything! *Agents enter the room with torture devices and drugs* Me: I will never tell you anything! *Miku enters the room* Me:okay I'll tell you everything *Miku brings out a leek* Me: *profusely sweats*
One day in my geography class, the teacher was talking about a certain country that i dont remember what was, then he talked about that in that country there was some kind of spys that worked for the governament and tortured people who was caught talking something against the governament, When he told that they was known as Secret Police, i instantly remembered of this song. When i got back home, i listened to this song one more time, and i could notice that the lyrics seemed to talk EXACTLY about what my teacher told me! Is it just a impression or this song is talking about what i'm thinking?
Erica Zingone Really? Sounds creepy. My sister told me that this happens everywhere, even in my homecountry. But in my homecountry we are allowed to talk bad things about the governament, but if someone plans an terrorist attack to an politician, this person will go to jail. And also, it's almost impossible to a politician to go to the jail, laws here make this a really hard thing, even if he stole public money (sorry bad english)
I like how she's singing about a spy force that invades privacy and uses cruel interrogation methods and we're just partying

Policeman: Sir, why did you attempt to rob a bank, then proceed to trip yourself on the curb as you ran away?
Someone: I heard there are free Vocaloid concerts in prison.
Policeman: *facepalm
+Shiro Ryuuko XD
I wished that would happen. But police are now kinda bad...
Connie Ma Well, some of the officers. There are still the good people, but one too many innocent civilians have died at the hands of the police....
Shiro Ryuuko sooo, HATSUNE MIKUIS NOT A BAD ONE XD
Connie Ma Of course not~ o7o
So if I go to jail I can see this concert right???

Eminem: I am the fastest lyric rapper alive
Hatsune Miku:

*EMINEM HAS LEFT THE CHAT*
I think this song was 100% made for Miku. With all of her different and creative outfits, it makes sense. Some of them even LOOK LIKE police-like outfits!!! GREAT VIDEO OVER ALL!!!! KEEP UP THE WORK!!!
No leaks were harmed during the making of this video

I would commit some awful crimes to be stuck in a prison like this
Omg! XD
trash then I would kill someone for some free vocaloid concert
That's how jail is in Japan everybody
That explains the national lolicon.
Actually Japanese prison is super brutal.
gaijinass.com/2017/03/30/brutal-realities-of-prison-in-japan/
Bruno Cunha Let me commit a crime then
Bruno Cunha I live in Russia, so I think that I will live much better in Japanese jail
Mmm I don't think so...

この曲のギターの感想が好きでたまりませんよ!
警察の中のかっこいい歌詞が載ってていいですわ。
it's not a vocaloid if they dont change clothes in the middle of nowhere and they cant speak as fast as a computer

Those prisoners seem to be having a lot of fun for being locked up, lmao. I love that they’re just jamming despite being told they’re always being watched. XD
Well that's because there in jail and and that's the closets they can get to having fun
If mikus in my jail and performing you bet I'm having fun
I feel smart for perfectly understanding the main line of the song.
The song is very catchy...
The message is very creepy ; n; lol
What is the message
Basically, they watch you and know what you do everyday.
ILLUMINATI
In soviet they called KGB
Creepy:)
Out of all the outfits she changed in and out of my favorite was at 2:10
Jasmine Marie the purple hair is better in my opinion
it's kinda funny how i most likely wouldnt get anything from this kinda music normally, but just because is the singer Miku in this, it makes into something i can actually really enjoy.
i didn't think before now that all a style of music which i typically don't enjoy, needed in order to become palatable to me, was making Miku the vocalist (and probably a few other musical choices)
A lot of lyrics for vocaloid songs would be seen as obscene in many other music genres, this is why I believe vocaloid to be more of a music niche rather than a genre
No one;
Not a single soul:
Not even god:
Weebs when going to jail:
i shall start doing crimes
This hits different today...
M-Miku stop it, you're scaring me. *covers webcam with duct tape*
I know I totally agree she is scaring me to
i know that's bad :(
i had my facecam ducked taped!!!
Hahahaha!
U MADE ME ON FIRE I AM BRUNING UP HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If only we could replace all police with robotic Miku’s than there would be no crime
I think it would have the opposite effect
Prison would become an hotel
MIKUUU!!! YOU ARE HEREBY ARRESTED FOR BEING TOO AWESOME!!!
NeoWolf29 So here's the joke.

You know that outfit at 3:01? It wasn't even a recognisable Miku anymore! It looked like completed different Vocaloid!
THIS REMINDS ME OF THOSE CHEESY SCHOOL SONGS TO HELP US LEARN SSOMETHING LIKE I WOULD LITERALLY PAY TO WATCH THIS IN CRIMINAL SCIENCE
一番最初の音まで入ってて
好き好き!!
Cyberpixie it also happened in China.
Erica Zingone Really? Wow!
Cyberpixie it actually is still happening in China
Erica Zingone Really? Sounds creepy. My sister told me that this happens everywhere, even in my homecountry. But in my homecountry we are allowed to talk bad things about the governament, but if someone plans an terrorist attack to an politician, this person will go to jail. And also, it's almost impossible to a politician to go to the jail, laws here make this a really hard thing, even if he stole public money (sorry bad english)
This practice is common in corrupt countries or dictatorships. Especially during the Cold War.
2:50 the song is called secret police and she does a certain salute at this part. Based 😂😂😂
これほんとにだいすき
Miku sounds like a actual police car. This is what I call one of the amazing songs done by Miku herself ^-^
No… Buriru-P made the song, Miku is just a voice.
Please credit the actual people behind the work!
my vocaloid period will never end, I want this at my funerals !
I know Miku isn't an actual person but I'm still wondering if it's possible for a person to sing that fast while maintaining a normal face.
Probably haha :)
Ikr
Brigade Leader Haruhi Suzumiya Wrong. Hatsune Miku doesn't have a voice actor, I mean she doesn't sound or sing like that
Brigade Leader Haruhi Suzumiya Do you not realize that Hatsune is a vocaloid?
+Luk Yat Ming more like, her voice is altered for Vocaloid, but it is a voice bank for Miku, I believe so, if not then I'm wrong, oops
ライブにノってたかと思えば急に檻に入れられちゃう観客ニキ達すこ
Did anyone else notice that in this song Miku works for the government and in Len's song Superhero he is working to take down the government?
Dark Pr0phet 12 That would be EPIC!
Dark Pr0phet 12 like in knife 0.0
