First off, great vid! Im glad you enjoyed Xillia. I do wanna clear something up about Alvin tho. I feel like you may have missed the crux of his character, which is basically he does whatever is easiest for him and doesn’t want to commit to anything. It is a very child like mindset because well, he didnt have a proper childhood and was brought up in Exodus from an early age. His conversation with Elise at the end of the game pretty much sheds light on why he is the way he is, especially since he has to take advice from a kid. His development is all about facing up to his ways and how they’ve hurt people (i.e. Presa) and then realizing that he should stop doing that and accept the party as his allies. Maybe you’ll like him more in Xillia 2 when his arc is fleshed out even more
Thank u for the support and amazing explanation! I’m going to do Milla side and also Xillia 2 so my opinion on Alvin could totally change. SPOILERS- I couldn’t believe how he shot Leia and that honestly is the main reason I hated him lol
@@SweisSenpai totally fair. Honestly seeing him so angry over Milla’s “death” makes alot more sense when you see Milla’s side of things. Those two have alot of side conversations. The main downside of Alvin’s arc in Milla mode is Presa dies offscreen unfortunately
Did you just say Jude’s “quick dodge” (I assume you mean his Pivot Snap ability) doesn’t give him enough reward? It’s one of the more broken abilities in all of Tales honestly. Alvin is probably the best character in the game honestly. Him being torn between his mission and the party truly hit personally for me. Otherwise great video breaking down your opinions. This is personally one of my least favorite Tales games because Jude was unlikeable to me and the story just seemed kinda aimless. However you’re now set up for my favorite game ever made, Tales of Xillia 2, so I look forward to your thoughts on that!

Great video. ^^ This game looks like a ton of fun. If they ever end up doing a remake for this that could be something legendary.
A remake would really benefit this game the art style is beautiful it would be even better in high resolution:)

Great Video, glad you enjoyed it on what was the precursor for Scarlet Nexus, even if Xillia is not nearly as refined as Tales of Arise.
Yeah I really did enjoy my time with it . I just didn’t fall in love like Arise
