It’s staggering to me how many of these people in the orbit of the former president are so cavalierly throwing away their careers and corrupting justice to do so. To be fair, she didn’t have much of a career to risk and the rewards are great should she succeed. She should have recused herself in the first place due to her lack of experience and the gravity of the case and secondly because she is an appointee of the defendant. She also was rebuked severely by her circuit court bosses in her previous misadventure regarding the special master debacle. She’s so clearly in the bag for the former president that no reasonable person could conclude that she is capable of fairly presiding over this case. It’s not only disgusting, it’s terrifying.

You described her as having "circuit court bosses." No, she does not. She is an Article III district judge. She doesn't have a "boss." The circuit court can overrule her decisions, but they cannot supervise or direct her actions.

If a _Federal_ judge on a case with worldwide attention can be this flagrantly in the service of the defendant with zero repercussions, I can't help but believe that judges are bought off all the time in the US.
How about answering how the prosecutor and special counsel have admitted in court to fabricating evidence. YES the trial has worldwide attention because it shows the US is now a fascist dictatorship.

I blame AG Garland and Jack Smith for taking no action against this travesty in a robe . People should stop reporting on this case until she is removed.As a retired Fed who worked in National Security over 2 decades of my 34 year Fed career…I find the lack of movement in this case a violation of National Security and an unequal application of justice. Any of my colleagues who would remove a single classified doc from an appropriate SCF, especially after an employee left their position, the government would have taken immediate action against the person, not give them months and months to get their story straight. This case is even worse than the other Trump indictments except for the insurrection…it is shameful that nothing has been done and it lays.bear questions about damage to our National Security by a man who continues to play with America’s traditional enemies.
The Appeals Court should boot her. I will never believe that she was randomly chosen to hear this case.

I would rather a Judge actually go through every motion than just rubber stamp everything one side wants. And what many Trump haters don't seem to understand,is that goes beyond Trump. Remember,whatever precedent gets set in the Trump trails can and probably will be used against the other side later. And before anybody gets all self righteous you may be falsely accused of something totally different and get the precedents set here used against you.

Jack Smith could have this case go to trial almost immediately if he would simply drop all charges except
the obstruction charge. The other charges bring in very
complicated points of law that require much adjudication.
Willful and illegal retention/possession of classified documents is the big crime. Obstruction is a nothing charge in comparison.
The obstruction comes from the documents he was refusing to return. The documents are integral to the crime. We are still waiting to hear what secrets of ours (5 Eyes) he has shared with his buddy Putin.
