@@uberfiend2544 the psx version was like a remaster with new animation and backgrounds. The Sega CD music chip was better than Sony's 32bit console and the game itself had longer dungeons and just managed to have an all around much better atmosphere than the psx version did with the same content. It felt more epic even though it was an older console and release.
The BEST RPG Battle Music of all time. This Version is better than the Playstation Version. Thanks for Uploading this. Lower Quality but good enough for now. Im searching for a High Quality =(
To find the high quality version of this you need to look for the Lunatic Parade CDs. It's track no. 4 Stand and Rise! Men of Valor! or something like that. The WD soundtrack is fine for what it is, but the playstation versions of the songs SUCK. The dragon theme is another one that is butchered in the PSX version
The Sega CD version of this game was the best hands down. Had to be one of the most defining games for the system.
What's the difference between the ps1 and sega
It was cuz it was great and because it unfortunately didn't have that many :(

@@Kafuinga I agree with this so much. The Sega CD version definitely has better atmosphere and feels more epic.
@@uberfiend2544 ps1 version has shitty midi music LMAO
finally beaten this game :D
Makes me want to play Grandia 2 lol!
Mee too :D
Same composer :) Noriyuki Iwadare is a CRIMINALLY underrated composer.
My wife made fun of me cause this song made me cry lol
You're in the right to cry. and she's in the right to make fun ;)
It makes me cry too
i loved this game so much for the ost, granted the ps1 remake was decent.. but i do miss this song i really didn't care for the remake version of this
This is literally the exact same song as what's used in the PS1 version
@@aaronjones3408 No, it isn't. The arrangement for the PS1 version for this song is different, and it sucks
NFL PrimeTime? He Could...Go...All...The...Way!
It sounds like Megaman X series
Always reminds me of a mixture of Wham's Careless Whisper and Madonna's Live to Tell

Never expected a reply to this 8 Years later LOL! I did find a good download Years ago and still have it.
still sounds better than the psx remake version, the psx for some reason sounds softer
Psx sound was I inferior to the saturn and even the sega cd
Wow, I really like this version more than the PSX one... XD

@@aaronjones3408 Even if the compositions are the same, the instrumentation is different, and that can affect the quality of a song
Check-out the Sega Saturn version of this track, it's in better quality, but it's the same arrangement (I believe).
The electric guitar glissando isn't in that version so I don't think it is this same exact song, although it's really close.

The guitar is harder in this version. All the original music was better. Best RPG series in Sega CD.
I hear some thing saying ruba
