How to repair a (Knaus Caravan) slatted base

In this video i'll try to repair the slatted base of a Knaus Caravan. The base is not weak, but to open the window there is a lot of stress on one or two joints of the frame.
Therefor, replacing is not enough, I'll add some strength to the slats with fiberglass and epoxy.
I do not replace the slat with a exact copy, but with a piece of 9mm Birch multiplex at the bottom. You won't notice this.
