As an American Muslim of Indian descent, Kamala Harris is a better choice for our civil rights, environmental policy and economy. Things have significantly improved since Biden became President for American Muslims. When we vote we vote on local issues for our economy and education for the children. Foreign policy is not our number one concern. Also Pakistan is a nonissue for American citizens and the vast majority are unaware because the country is insignificant in terms of global trade.
Pakistani people need to start standing up on their own feet and start rebuilding their nations from the ground up. India invested in education, Bangladesh invested in education. Pakistan should focus on investing in education to first reach the level of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has no major lobby but they also have international scholars at top American universities. It's time for Pakistanis to take ownership of their own problems and emulate the best plans of the successful neighboring Asian states and other successful states in the global South.
You appreciate Bangladesh students rising up to protest, but that was against a corrupt democratic govt.
In Pakistan there can be no uprising against a corrupt "selected" govt which has no power. The power is with the Army which has the gun.

In a world where nations with shared issues support each other, Muslim countries have been targeted for decades, yet remain passive instead of creating a collective narrative against the international establishment. If they don’t unite for Palestine now, they risk facing the same fate. While Europe supports Israel without hesitation, Muslim countries feel pressured to appear "liberal" and condemn groups like Hamas.
There is a fine line between being open-minded and simply being complacent. It is imperative for the Muslim world to forge a collective voice, not only for Palestine but for all future causes that challenge the global status quo. The time to act is now, before the fire spreads to one's own doorstep.
