I have to say. I recently got my hands on one and yes it sounds cool. Has complex meticulous construction. Just generally well built. But it’s sound is just kind of limited and has little sound range. Not octave range. It has that. But no diversity of sound. On a guitar and even on lip harmonica you can make very different sounds by being able to affect the strings in many different ways. This technically can do it too but it’s more like a limited application instrument.
@@StopFear so it is possible to smoke cigarettes and play this Autoharp? I guess you just have to time your song changes with lighting your next ciggy. I just wish manufacturers would be more smoker friendly. If a smoker gets a cut does she not bleed? We are just humans who like to play instruments and smoke a few cigs.
Sorry it took me ten months to see your comment,! I took out some of the bars it came with and cut my own for the chords I wanted. You can see that I hand-labeled the Bm and F#m.
So this is the instrument that Suzuki Omnichord is based on.

Can you smoke cigarettes while playing it? I need one that’s easy to play and smoke with.

Fabulous!
Which model is this? I can’t find an Oscar Schmidt with those same chords, and I’m enchanted by the ones you have here.

Are there any autoharps that provide all 12 major and 12 minor triads?
@@libracordialI believe that one has to be modified to have all of the triads
Wow the flowers! Did you do that or does the manufacturer make it like that? Did you sell it??
Sorry... I just now saw this. They are stickers from The Gifted Line. They seemed to fit so well.
And yes, I did sell it.
Are some of the string muffled when not fitting in the the actual chord
Yes. Autoharp bars have felt bits on the underside that muffle strings that are not part of the chord.
What tuning did you have this in! Sounds great
Is that electric?
