2:22 This is from a Japanese only Sega Dreamcast game, Godzilla Generations: Maximum Impact. They used designs for the Heisei monsters that were unused in it. Mougera, SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah also have alternate designs

pretty sure they would not built mechag in sequel just think amount of resources and advanced technology and I obviously think that Mechagodzilla is not practical and too obsolete

Kiryu was my first favorite MechaGodzilla design, some parts of the design make him definitely look like a mechanical imposter😁 (besides the head spikes)

Basically, Zilla Jr.'s dad was taken over by aliens and had no choice but to delete him. I think you already know this, but in the monsterverse, Godzilla would easily beat Mecha-G, the only reason why we saw Godzilla have such a hard time fighting Kevin is that he was already exhausted after his fight with Kong and that gave Kevin (Mechagodzilla) the advantage to kill godzilla.
