The Monday edition of the same week no longer survives in the archives, but was the one appearance by Russell T Davies as a presenter. Robert Kitson didn't make many appearances due to this being relatively near the end for Play School.

Andrew Grampian, I vividly remember Robert being a Play School presenter though he didn't make many appearances. There were a number of other presenters who joined late and lasted to the end in 1988.

The song Robert sings towards the end of this episode while he's playing a hat game with the toys is a variation of My Hat It Has Three Corners.

Playschool - crap like Tellytubbies and in the night garden aren't even fit to lick Playschool's boots!

See, that's the problem with children's entertainment now, too watered down and simple. Shows like Teletubbies and In The Night Garden, in my eyes, insults a child's intelligence. The Australian Play School nowadays does the same thing, too much wackiness and not enough charm compared to our Play School!
Aussie presenters such as Benita Collings and John Hamblin have NOTHING on the BBC presenters such as Brian Cant and Carol Chell!
