Well done...Beautiful....love the Art Deco look....seem to be some haters looking at boat videos...There is a old theater here in Calif that was built back in the Art Deco time.....the Fremont in San Luis Obispo , Calif....
I kept thinking "Hmm, not the design choice I'd have made..." but the craftsmanship and eye for detail is nonetheless beautiful and immaculate. Old boats will make a perfectionist pull their hair out as reality confounds the best plans, but any such challenges were mastered in the execution of this restoration/adaptation.
ambitious price, thought it said totally refurbished, a lot of water damage to the bright work in the wheelhouse, not easy to miss. Not a very good use of the space the layout is poor, surely the head should be in the middle
What "bright work in the wheelhouse" has "a lot of water damage"? There is a tiny amount of chrome on the dials and throttle and they are obviously new.
@@flashpoint8909 96 years of wear and tear will do that. I wouldn't change it. I think the head is in the perfect position, I love the layout and the price makes it very attractive as an alternative to a one bedroom flat. Love it!
@@chriscross9505 good for you man, all I,m saying is as a long time sailor that woodwork could be brought back like new, surely when selling you want to present in A1 condition, blackened varnish work is not good just lazy
@@flashpoint8909 How do you know it's "lazy"? How do you know if the owner is not recently deceased and his widow doesn't want to pick up a sanding block and a can of varnish? Be honest you just like to moan, feel superior and express a negative opinion where none is required. You don't like the boat, you want to judge the previous owner . . we get it. Honestly, your comments say more about you than them.
I reckon that beauty even looks like Home!
Wow this boat certainly celebrates Art Deco. Lovely example of a restored boat

Very nice Boat, and I understand that it is old, but it is very big for just 1 double room and a small bunk room...
The day head near the helm, how nice. Galley near the helm, the pilot can be refreshed. Sorry that is the only head/BA on the boat.
Love the interior style.
Muito lindo!!!
Parabéns!!!!
Gostaria que tivesse aqui!!!

Nice boat. I like the art deco homage.
Excellent
okay for two people. but better for a single occupation. Just a bit pricey for the age and standard of fit out.
Anthony many thanks for your feedback
@@TingdeneMarinasBoatSales I actually like this and A) not too expensive and b) how much space does one need ? . Big enough for a couple.
just curious, are new Dutch Barges no longer produced?
search for:
lemsteraak laten bouwen
tjalk laten bouwen
and see this one ruclips.net/video/MBo16iVr17s/видео.html
So many barges for sale nowadays, look on internet.

@@chriscross9505 the brightwork on a boat refers to the varnish

Found this very odd indeed...
