Mark was very charismatic on stage in the early days of GFR and he still has it in spades today. Always a natural entertainer as well as a great musician!
Thank you! I wish you see him many, many more times. As I understand it, Mark was really great since his teens. The more I see him performing with The Pack (in 1967 & 1968 at the Upbeat show / WEWS TV in Cleveland) the more I understand that this guy was about to be a star before Grand Funk.
1st-That Wah Wah soooo nice 2nd-Mark I am glad you replaced the other members with men of color so there can be no mistake those hard-ons are NOT in the band. 3rd.-What is Grand Funk Railroad without your voice? So no matter about the past...I saw your old group in NYC at the Garden in the 70's and it is a pleasure to have you tearing up the stage. With all due respect, the other members of the old GFR have really missed out on the adorning fans you have amassed and memories we cherish, Peace
I grew up with Mark Farner in Grand. Funk and I'll tell you I wouldn't change it for anything.
great performance, new bass line absolutely suitable in order to give new life to this classic Grand Funk track...
One of America’s underrated great writers and musicians #RightSideOfTheMic

Yes! He had a bad cold, he made fun with it to the audience and still put out an outstanding show that night of March 8.

The man that put Funk into rock and roll. If he can’t get you on your feet, then it can’t be done. The FUNKMASTER MARK FARNER.
I love the descending bass line in the solo. Great song here!
