Definitely a huge step up in quality of opponent, but Wxm have stepped up too. Nice to see that we scored the best goal, our second was just phenomenal. Our defence seemed a bit wobbly but they just need time to gel and should be able to deal with League 1 attackers.
Let’s be honest the chavs were nowhere near full strength, pre season results literally mean nothing as it’s all about fitness and being ready for the big kick off.
Not too shabby against a Premier League team, eh? I know that Chelsea didn't have a full strength squad here, but still... the spending power they have vs ours, accompanied with the difference in the gulf of 2 leagues apart. I think Wrexham performed very well considering 💪

This won't be the case, at least the way I see it. We are still in the market for a new striker to pair up or slot in Mullin's place while he injured for the first few games of the season and is recovering... However, it would be nice to see Marriot scoring goals this season regardless. We gonna need every goal we can find. Lastly, I do not think anybody is going to match Mullin in the goal scoring department, if he recovers properly and is back to full strength - he is just too much of a goal scoring machine!!
Umm, Palmer James and Sterling are English, Nkunku is French, Cucurella is Spanish, Caicedo is from Ecuador and so on. Just because most of the team are black doesn't mean they're all african, sure there are a good few players of african decent but still

Our defence was AMAZING consider the quality of opponents we were up against, it's definitely improved by a ton.
