President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. underscores the significance of collaborative efforts between the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) in propelling the nation’s progress towards a ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ as he witnesses the signing of an alliance agreement between the two Parties in a ceremony at the Makati Diamond Residences in Makati City on 18 May 2024.
“As the Chairman of the PFP, I wholeheartedly believe that our shared commitment to empowering and amplifying the voice of every Filipino unites us in our mission to revitalize, rejuvenate and transform our country,” the President remarks in addressing the PFP and NPC members.
He emphasizes that the alliance is not a fleeting partnership for narrow electoral gains or a convenient union, but a commitment to finding common ground and working together in addressing the urgent needs of every Filipino. “Our agenda is the nation’s progress - nothing more, nothing less,” he adds.
“So, let our actions resound louder than our rhetoric... Let our collective efforts uplift the lives of every Filipino, and let our alliance usher in a new era of good governance,” President Marcos Jr. ends in his speech.
