Great video. Love the speed of this. I believe there was about to be made an error at 42:05 You can get an extra action for 3 lanterns, but this isn't an extra turn. So even if he did have a tree planted you wouldnt grow it on your extra action.
"i wanted to do so much more.. and then it was stolen from me!" is the perfect way to sum up this game! 😂 it always feels like you just need ONE more round! i love woodcraft soo much it's my go-to solo game, i can just sit down and focus on the game for like 2 hours, it's great fun for me. the solo is insane though it says 120 points is good, or something like that, and 140 is excellent?? that's crazy high, i think i only managed to get 140 once but u need to max out reputation, and do like 10+ orders. and some luck with the helpers and the forest dice rolls doesn't hurt. all in all i think this is a super unique game with a really cool theme and soo many fantastic ideas that just work together perfectly! thank you for the play-through, i really enjoyed it, as usual! ☺️
Just wanted to pop in and say I finally got a chance to play my copy of woodcraft and this playthrough was 100% the reason why I bought it and also how I refreshed myself on how to play. It's an awesome game, thanks!!
This game looks fantastic. Can’t wait to table it. Apparently, “Math is an abbreviation of mathematics, which is a count noun in British English because there are different types of maths (geometry, algebra, calculus, etc.) and a mass noun that happens to end in an 's' in American English (like gymnastics in both dialects).” Thanks Google!
Great playthrough! Can not wait to get my hands on this game and try it with the husband. Love that it goes quick but still has all the important/agonizing decisions.
The fourteen turns are so deliciously restrictive that you never get to do half the things you were hoping for. Almost like Feast For Odin, I feel like every play could be trying something new.
My most anticipated game from last year, sadly I haven't yet cracked it open. This playthrough might change that. However the theme is definitely so misleading, it's a crunchier game than it appears.

Nice job with the game overview! The action selection in this game is definitely "Delicious". Love the gameplay banter between the two of you.

What an awesome game! I'll have to look out for it when it becomes available again!
I love Praga which ya'll got us playing. I need to try this one soon!
Appreciate the chill play-through vibes. Bought this at Gen Con on ratings alone. Looks great to me!
Heck yeah. You guys blazed through that.
At 2 players it's not a long game at all!
Love the flavor of the game, thanks for showing it off!

Google for the win!
I thought Google was only used to diagnose medical conditions...who knew.
This one's been on my shelf for a month or so. I really want to try it.

Yup! It's exactly that, snappy at 2 players but such hard decisions

You know when I'm down to just my socks it's time for income, that's why they're called income socks!
This game looks awesome!
It is!
@TheBrothersMurph the way it ramps up reminds me of Chocolate Factory.
Would love to try it sometime, but not sure if I would buy it!
Hope you get to try it some day!

Just played with my son. We did not get the combos going well and ended up with pretty low scores.

While we're on the plural subject. Why do Americans always say Legos. There is no plural. Just ask the Lego company.
At this point we say it to annoy Lego Stans.
