VIRTUAL LAP TIME WITH MAX VERSTAPPEN The Hungarian Grand Prix | CITRIX Virtual Lap
So it's been quite a while since I have not posted a video to NikZ Racing channel as there are other activities going on that occupied myself. So I thought I needed to post a video again very soon. And this CITRIX virtual lap time of Max Verstappen at Hungarian Grand Prix showed up last night in my Instagram feed, so I thought hey, let's do this because this is also the race weekend for Hungarian Grand Prix 2021.
This video is about me trying to catch up with Max Verstappen's Virtual Lap Time at Hungaroring. So it's a battle of:
1) Real F1 Driver vs Sim Racer
2) Fanatec Podium Direct Drive Wheel vs My Old Logitech Steering Wheel
3) Triple Monitor vs Single Monitor
4) Playseat F1 Rig vs DIY Custom Rig
5) Expensive vs Cheap Stuff (=p)
Although it seems like a short video of around 1 and a half minutes, it actually takes quite some time to make the video. First I needed to practice about 3 hours before I could catch up with Max Verstappen's lap time (I'm not a very fast sim racer =p). Then the editing itself takes another around 4-5 hours, including preparing thumbnail, etc. (I guess I'm just too slow in editing the video, and there were clips and effects that I needed to redo a couple of times due to my noobiness).
The Hungaroring is a technical test with fast, flowing corners that can catch anyone out, and yes I prove myself could beat Max Verstappen's time on Codemasters' F1 2020, no need Lewis Hamilton and expensive stuff LoL.

Current story in F1:
Max Verstappen is currently still leading the championship, however with a very tight point differences from Lewis Hamilton, due to Max's incident at Silverstone couple of weeks ago with Lewis. So it would be very interesting to see how the battle goes on tomorrow at Hungary.
