I agree with Uncle Si. Why can't we just turn the TV on and watch it like we used to? Why do they have to make everything so complicated these days? I miss having regular good ole cable TV. We used to pay $45:00 to $50:00 a month. Never had any problems and we had plenty of channels to watch. We can't afford cable TV anymore. We can't have any kind of satellite cables where I live bc there's too much interference. If you live near a main hwy or train tracks even if you live in a small town.... satellite TV do not work either. Streaming is right back where we started. 😮 Instead of our TV's rolling....now they buffer. Same thing just another word for it, so we're not any better off than when we were in the 60’s and 70's. Also, I agree with Uncle Si about women. Men think women just go through puberty, having babies, and menopause. Nope, our bodies have to go through so much more. Plus we can't say a word about it and be strong for everyone. Work, raise our children, keep the house clean, do laundry, help with homework, cook supper every night, and most of all pray the Lord will help you get through it all. Pray that he'll help us when we get sick. Make sure you have a relationship with the Lord, because we need him in our lives always. Just an FYI, Polio is still around and it affects the brain and/or spinal cord. The last Iron Lung survivor just passed away in march of this year. The polio made it so he had to live in the machine.
Yep, I didn't understand until a mother at the job told me her story. She said her daughter went to talk with santa and asked for a golf cart. Then the daughter went back to school after Christmas break and other kids had received a golf cart but she didn't. So the mother had to tell her daughter who santa really was. You talk about sad! Umm it will humble you.
Don’t knock the Waffle House. During a natural disaster Waffle House can run exclusively on propane. So they may be cooking your meals for ya if they aren’t flooded!!
