I'm hoping that the delay in getting these remastered videos uploaded had some people buy the game themselves so they could play it on their own and help Skunkape Games raise enough money for the third season, and hopefully a fourth!
I was literally binging the Sam and Max remasters this weekend and had just resigned myself to having to switch to the original game from here on out, but it turns out you had literal perfect timing so I get one more remastered episode. Yay!
1:44:00 I can't believe it's takes me a playthrough and one whole remaster viewthrough to finally get the meaning of "Soul Crushing" from this. It's....just sad. Also, how long does it's take to crushing one's soul? I...uh...give it 14 hours at least.
In 1:08:50, you can actually see stuff from The Devil’s Playhouse in the closet, majorly the museum stuff. Neat touch of what’s to com-excuse me-what ALREADY happened (because S&M are currently in the future, you see)!
I know I'm opening the floodgates to the darkest depths of devientart and this is probably one of those questions that should never be answered, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if Sam and Max used the baby machine.
Lol! What a silly episode this level was! And this is where true time travel comes into play. We finally know about who those 3 Pedro Mariachis & who they really are. Not only that, but they are the same person from Past, Present & Future. Which explains a lot when you think about. Watching this all the way through, & I find it very funny at certain points. Mostly with Sam & Max meeting their younger selves as they are both fixing & playing the Bluster Blaster (Max at 57:15, Sam at 59:33) as well as their future selves (1:03:53) & them trying to make Agent Superball be surprised even if brief & succeeded with funny results (1:11:31). But what was funny was where Sam comedically says "Banang" to make Max laugh, which worked the first time and we get to hear that funny sound Max make when he laughs (1:18:02), while as the rest was annoying him to where he slaps the bottle off Sam's desk so he can stop. To add more to it, I see that they used the memorable quote (Which is "We don't need no stinkin' badges!" from an old western) here at 1:35:41 when asking Pedro where the cages are since there isn't any. Lol, I dropped out laughing at that when he said it! And the humor of Sam & Max meeting their a year past selves & they were being very rude to their future selves in the process too. (At 1:55:34 when they meet, from 1:57:33 where they have to go through all of what they did to get back to their current timeline & confront their past selves which they later have to trick to get the contract from them, to finally at 2:22:18 where their past selves, even though it was smart on their part to keep themselves from being killed & causing the duo to not exist in their current time.) Really funny from watching that part! I see yet another familiar scene of which I first saw on Twitter by once again a friend I follow on Twitter. It's during the part at 1:22:12 where Superball erases bits of Sam's & Max's Memory after mention the words Time Machine. Man, it's funny seeing that, and I'm glad I found which game & episodic it came from. And a form of foreshadow for the next episode at 1:18:45. If you hear the other person's voice clearly, or have played the original game before, you can tell it's Sam's Voice as he asks for the Remote to Boxing Betty and you give it to him & he gives you an Egg as a trade. Not to mention that Sam literally says "Be 'you' later", indicating what I just said. Pretty much we know what's gonna happen during that point in the 5th & Final Episode of this game. It seems that this Episodic Level ends with Sam & Max, along with bringing Bosco's corpse with them through the Bermuda Triangle Portal in order to escape the Alien Space Ship set to explode thanks to the duo. Which means we should know what to expect in the next & final episode of Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered. Also, reading your Top & Pinned Comment, we understand. You have a lot to do in real life and that's why your Sam & Max Remastered Playthroughs are taking awhile. Hehe. Sorry for my VERY long comments on all of your Sam & Max Remastered Playthroughs/Gameplays/Walkthroughs so far, Napalm. Oh yeah, you need to go to the main AI on the ship and change the personality to passive aggressive (the rude personality, I can't remember the specific name). I kept making cuts so that viewers can see young Sam & Max's reactions to each AI personality.
