I live in NYC and have been to Wah Fung. Its great. However I didnt even know about Ling Kee. Based on your video I went today with my wife since we were in Chinatown. It did not disappoint. Thanks for the tip. We enjoy watching your videos. Don't know how you guys can travel so far for such short trips but keep it up.
Have a Very Mele Christmas !!! & A joyous New Year ! Thank you for sharing ...amazing pizza slice $1.50 , New York China town amazing goodies , I can't believe $8.50 chinese bbq meats plate lunch ! Delicious ! Safe Travels & Enjoy your Family for the holiday's !
Good morning Bill and Lisa that place is perfect. It has enough room for everybody that has the best hotel room. I’ve stayed in in New York City. It is right down the way from Bryant Park Grand Central Station a 15 minute walk. to Central Park and a six minute walk from time square
Lisa is always honest. When it’s good it’s good. Also for the price $1.50 a family can easily feed their kids and they will be happy. Joe’s has lost many YT pizza showdowns recently.
It is so great that you are enjoying New York! You have been traveling everywhere in 2023! It has been such a joy to view your content! All of the food you tried looks absolutely delicious! So fun to learn about these new places!! If you have time, you may want to visit the Mandarin Hotel's Lobby Bar on their 35th floor I believe. It has the most magnificent view that you could imagine. Mandarin is located at the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle. They serve drinks, small plates and deserts. All very good along with tremendous view! I believe you would love it! As well, you may wish to try the New York landmarks of Serendipity for amazing desserts! And also the famous Katz Deli! Safe travels to you both and have a wonderful time in New York!
I was in NYC from Wednesday to Monday a week after Thanksgiving. We stayed in The Manhattan in Times Square on 7th and 51st. I happened to sit next to Daniel Craig at Ootoya Restaurant. The hot chocolate at La Maison du Chocolat is the best. It's like melted dark chocolate. We went to ABC Carpet & Home Store, and ate at their restaurant. Then we walked through the Christmas shops close by there. We went to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. We ordered to have Joe's Pizza in Times Square delivered to our room. And we went to the Summit, but it was raining so we couldn't see anything. We walked through Central Park and had breakfast at Le Pan Quotidien. We also ate at Gallagher's Steakhouse around the corner from our hotel. NYC is my favorite place to visit, then Paris, then Vegas. I went to all three this year multiple times.
🌺 Aloha Bill and Lisa, 🎄 Mahalo for this vlog! Keep it coming! Stay warm in New York and have fun. 🤙🏽 love the Chinese egg tart and pizza! 🍕 Enjoy yourselves and be safe! ☃️🧑🏼🎄🤶🏼
It's SO comforting to know Wah Fung No 1 is still putting out banger food all these decades later from the last time I've been able to eat there. I miss that place SO much. There's a reason it's so popular among locals AND foodies AND the "influencer" crowd. Just perfectly made meats, with simple rice or cabbage with the sauce. Incredible seeing you guys eat it again (I think you did have it in a video a few years ago if I remember right) especially right now because I'M SO HUNGRY lol thanks you guys!
They're the cutest. When Lisa was about to take a bite of the Chinese egg tart. Bill quickly adds, "$1.50 right"? Lisa replied so quickly and takes charge of that bite after. 😂
My daughter and I are here in NY right now for a girl’s trip. We also went shopping at Bryant Park Christmas Market. Never been to Zuckers but we did go to Pop Up Bagels. Love your vlogs.
Wow, you had some great eats and wonderful prices in New York. Yes, the charred pieces usually have lots of flavor. Can't wait to visit and check them out. Thank you.
It's funny that you guys were freezing and this weekend it's pushing upper 50s and we're so close to Christmas! People always ask about temps for this time of year and you just never know.
Looks like a very interesting city. I love the view from your room. It looked cozy and the streets and the view of the Empire State Building was great. I love walking a city and finding hidden gems. It seems you found a few excellent gems to enjoy as well. I was amazed at the $1.50 slice of pizza. How it was just steaming hot and how tasty it looked and no I don't think you're crazy. I think it just what hit the spot that day. Joe's did look good and I loved the looks and sounds of the crunch of that crackercrust. I thought the the $1.50 crust was made of sour dough with all the nooks and crannies in the crust. The Lechon looked absolutely amazing as all the meats ,cabbage ,rice and gravy looked sooo yummy. I could not believe the price tag on that!!!😮 $8.50??? I would be eating there, at least twice a week! Too good not to. Thanks for taking me along. Merry Christmas Bill and Lisa. See you next time.❤
Wah Fung is definitely a great deal. I live in the Bay Area of California , you cannot get that plate anywhere for that price. The food looked so good, I’d be there once a week! 😋
Love this video too. I haven’t tried either and live in nyc my husband makes our pizza and we have a pizza 🍕 place on the island but will try and check both out since you recommend!!!👍🏾
Bill, the hotel was a wise choice. I love places where one can live the most like one does at home, especially if they have a kitchenette and cooking facilities. I did that the last time I was in Hawai'i. I was in a condo-like room. $504 for two nights, including everything in this hotel is DIRT CHEAP for NYC! 👍👍
Bill and Lisa! NYC so fun. That chinese meat on rice looked soooo good. I remember you vid in SF and you are saying this one is better! YUM. As for the pizza, I will go with Lisa and get the 1.50 one. That one slice is plenty for my appetite but if you need more it's still 1.50. Have fun. Karla in Cali.
Ohhhh that bagel! Yummm. I think the pizza shoot out was fun, you can’t beat $1.50 a slice. The Chinese food looked awesome too! Great price on your hotel room!
Yum!!! Pizza-pizza 🍕 both pizza slices looked good and both price points were on point. I think I have to go to NY and try them to see which one I would pick. 😊
Nice choice 👍...oh btw, the 3 meat on rice for $8.50 is a bargain...lot of places charge $ 7.50 - $ 9.00 for 2 meats...plus lots of places don't give you a bigger container if you buy the 3 meat rice...the Malaysian beef jerky is the best 👍
I like how Lisa thinks! Have the leftovers the next day with an egg and you've got breakfast! I tried something similar in Montreal Chinatown. I forgot how good the three meat combo is. My goal for when I travel is to hit up all the chinatowns😂 I'll be trying the one in London especially since my air BNB for the first three nights is in Chinatown😁
I’m a Malaysian and am so happy that you enjoyed the Malaysian jerky! It’s a must have for my family during Chinese New Year! We also make sandwiches with it😊. Looking forward to more fun videos!
Another classic from the Lisa highlight reel, indignantly telling Bill to "look it up" when he questions a piece of art. Can we get a follow up from Bill if he looked it up and what he found? 🙂
I would love to go to New York, it looks so nice, the food is exceptional 😍 I’ve never had a bagel before and I would, love to experience the classic New York bagel, pastrami sandwich, pizzas and all the awesome foods New York is famous for.
🐽 Man, the meats meal that Lisa got at Wah Fung for a little over $8.00 is a huge portion of all the best stuff. Char Siu (sp?) and any roast pork are terrific, especially with bark and skins left on!! 😋 I like the burnt portions of Cantonese BBQ pork. I love the skins left on roast pork, too! 😋 Filipino lechon is legend, as well. 🦆 Duck is de-lish too, but I don't get it often enough to enthuse a lot about it. In Seattle, you'd pay easily $15+ for the meats dish and steam vegs, if not nearer $20.
In Seattle it is 50F now (at 15:37, on 12/13/2023). NYC Winters are brutal, compared to here and especially where you are from. Chinese food in much of America is Cantonese food. I wish a lot of it was more representative of all the other savoury places in China, a country KNOWN for its amaaaaaazing cuisines.
Duck lip gloss 😂! Thanks for sharing your food adventures in NYC. Will have to check out the Radisson next time I visit the city. Happy holidays to you and your family!

Pizza prices in Seattle are on-average $4.50-$4.80, which is pricey. I cannot imagine getting a slice of pizza for as cheap as $1.50. That would be unheard of.

I’ve never tried a NY bagel but if you get the chance, please try Courage Bagels in Los Angeles. The line is always long but it’s worth it, I’ve never tasted anything quite like it. Would like to hear your opinion.
Lisa, good job doing karaoke in front of a crowd. You have courage! I don't think that I could do that. 👍 Show us your Louis Vuitton wallet! Nice gift, Bill!
So cheap for the 3 meat and rice plate. I too love the "burnt ends" on char siu. Whenever I buy char siu by the pound, I always ask for the pieces that have the well done edges. Don't think Hawaii has anything near that price of $8 50!
Thank you for saying how miserable and cold it is December in NYC! Coming from SF, I always thought I was a little spoiled and/or weird? :( Sure appreciate all the good eats :)
You did show great food in this video. The price was right on all of it. The Rock Art, so stupid lol. I hope it had some meaning. Great price on your hotel room Wow. Take care guys.
Lisa your headband is so cute! May I please request a shoutout for my Mom , Helen? She turned 79 this year! Thank you so much for another lovely video ! ❤
Anywhere in New York has the best pizza compared to Toronto lol I tried pizza 3 different places every place says they always have the best pizza but all pizza tasted so fresh & good. Need to go back just for the pizza.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!

Love the pizza showdown! NYC does have a lot of food options. 🎄🤗
Welcome to the City, Bill and Lisa! Awesome to have you on the East Coast. 👍😎
Vicariously loving the New York food scene!
That pork looked amazing !! Great blog 👍👍❤❤🥰🥰
Thank you!
Hi Lisa and Bill!
Lisa, looking glam in that high collar and headband!!! Ice blue really suits you too! Next time, treat us to a catwalk strut!
Thank you!
I also noticed the ice blue color looking great of both them!! 💙
I was just in NYC, too! The line was too long when I went past Joe’s. The less expensive place with no line was just what I
needed.
Good morning Bill and Lisa that place is perfect. It has enough room for everybody that has the best hotel room. I’ve stayed in in New York City. It is right down the way from Bryant Park Grand Central Station a 15 minute walk. to Central Park and a six minute walk from time square

👍🏽Nice yummy tour. I agree with Lisa; it's the taste, not the price!😊 Safe travels 🙏🏽 💕
Thank you!
You guys have great videos. I love watching them. Thank you for sharing these with us 👏❤️🙏
Our pleasure!
Hi Bill and Lisa, I really enjoy the views you share, I smiled for 28:23, thank you folks very much
Oh my heavens that loaded bagel looks beyond delicious! 🤤Yum!
They're the cutest. When Lisa was about to take a bite of the Chinese egg tart. Bill quickly adds, "$1.50 right"? Lisa replied so quickly and takes charge of that bite after. 😂
I like a little doughier crust but still a little crispy... so the $1.50 slice looked like my jam! ❤
My daughter and I are here in NY right now for a girl’s trip. We also went shopping at Bryant Park Christmas Market. Never been to Zuckers but we did go to Pop Up Bagels. Love your vlogs.
That is awesome! Have fun!
Wow! you two look great in blue and match each other beautifully ❤ Your hotel room was fantastic! Great location as well! awesome video friends 🎄🎅🏻😊🥰
Thanks for the shout out!!!!
Any time!
What a nice trip. I would go with Bill. Joe’s Pizza looked yummier if that’s a word.
Great video😊
I remember going to that Malaysian beef jerky place when I was a kid!! I could NOT stop eating it haha!
Wow, you had some great eats and wonderful prices in New York. Yes, the charred pieces usually have lots of flavor. Can't wait to visit and check them out. Thank you.
Anytime Yvonne! Love that Chinese bbq!!

Happy Wednesday, Christine!
I worked in Chinatown for 31 years. Yes it is that good........ Enjoy guys.

Ah man, I can’t believe I missed you both! I live in that building😢 so glad you showcased Bryant Park, it’s our neighborhood gem.
Next time!
Yum!!! Pizza-pizza 🍕 both pizza slices looked good and both price points were on point. I think I have to go to NY and try them to see which one I would pick. 😊
I’d pick the $4.00 slice just for the crust. Love thin and crispy.

"May Wah Fast Food" on Hester Street is pretty good too and often no long lines!
all looks good ty

London's Chinatown is probably the most picturesque one we've been to.
I’m a Malaysian and am so happy that you enjoyed the Malaysian jerky! It’s a must have for my family during Chinese New Year! We also make sandwiches with it😊. Looking forward to more fun videos!
So good!
Hello Lisa and Bill. Glad you're in new York. Wish I were there with you. Few states away. Hugs
Lisa goes in crust first like a pro pizza pizza , Joes looks like great pizza, Bill a true pizza connoisseur. $1.50 pizza to the moon
Great video. I’m shocked that the prices outside of the bagel place are very affordable for NYC, and the hotel looks perfect for such a good deal.
Omg I need some duck lip gloss!!!! Lol
Lisa looks good in the cold. LOL
$8.50 Wah Fung is fantastic! I wonder if the proprietors bought the property? Being Chinese they might have bought the building.
Wow that food looked good and big portions for the orice
We love your video ❤ and Yes. Roast Duck. Pork. Chicken. Rice. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much!
@@billandlisa You are welcome 😊
The bagel breakfast is all I need. NYC bagels are awfully good and salmon just tops it up! Safe travels.
Totally agree!
Another classic from the Lisa highlight reel, indignantly telling Bill to "look it up" when he questions a piece of art. Can we get a follow up from Bill if he looked it up and what he found? 🙂
Found nothing solid. lol
Love Bill's fuzzy hat! ❤❤
Hey Lisa!!!!! Hey Bill !!!!! ❤ 😊

I would love to go to New York, it looks so nice, the food is exceptional 😍 I’ve never had a bagel before and I would, love to experience the classic New York bagel, pastrami sandwich, pizzas and all the awesome foods New York is famous for.

WOW I LOVE NEW YORK IT'S MY OTHER HOME. THE FOOD THERE IS SO DELICIOUS 😋. THANKS FOR SHARING ALL THIS AMAZING FOOD. KEEP UP THE MAGNIFICENT JOB 😋😋😋👍🏼😁
Our pleasure!
You both look so good in Blue💙Great video.💕🫶💕🎄🎅
Thank you 🤗
You are absolutely on point that Wah Fung's takeout is a bargain. There is no way you can find that quality at that price in San Francisco. I will need to check it out the next time I visit the Big Apple along with the jerjy place.
Thanks for the recommendations.
Couldn't agree more!
Enjoy your trips. Especially your trips to Ohau. There is a restaurant called LuLu’s connected to the Park Shore Hotel. They make great Moco Locos and Pineapple stuffed French Toast. My husband Brad’s birthday is on December 15th. Waiting to watch your next adventure to Ohau for Xmas.
Thanks Bonnie! Happy Birthday to Brad! 🥳
Been to wah fung you cant beat the price and the quality of the food.
drooling for home
I really like Andrew's opening artwork so had an urge to look back and find when it was first presented. Jan 24, 2021 on the "Bojangles vs Popeyes" presentation was what I found. Luv his latest, highlighting points of the USA you've brought attention to. I don't remember you ever being in Alaska so didn't notice a Huskie dog. Looking forward to seeing his New Years opening.
When looking back past videos I noticed that most all where "Liked". What I missed, was clicked.
Thanks! Andrew has been working with us for a while now, always amazing artwork. We have been to Alaska, Anchorage and Fairbanks.
I must've missed it. Will look back for those vids and "like" all that I come across that I hadn't seen.@@billandlisa
Never miss an episode…. Love the channel! However, I thought Lisa was joking! That $1.50 slice looked like a low end, doughy, undercooked, disgusting pie. And the cheese and sauce, what little there was, looked anemic! On the other hand that Joe’s slice looked amazing. I guess that’s why it was sooo busy. New Yorkers know great pie!
I have to Go with that $1.50 kind of Pizza also.
That malaysian jerky looked like something id like to chew on!
The roasted pork entree price is a bargain 😋. The burnt end on the bbq pork is my favorite too.
It really is! So tasty! 😋
Nothing like getting the cheapest food in the most expensive city in the USA, great fun
My personal filling I like the thick crust better than thin crust you get more cheese and more toppings then you would on a thin crust better quality for your money
I love the pizza from NY! You should try the K BBQ ! I don't care where your from NY is cold in December!
Pizza prices in Seattle are on-average $4.50-$4.80, which is pricey. I cannot imagine getting a slice of pizza for as cheap as $1.50. That would be unheard of.
$5.50 for that Chinese meal is a great deal; not sure you can get that in SF. I love that LV wallet!
Russ and Daughters has a new location on West 34th. They have a few tables where you can eat your food.
Hi you're in my city enjoy happy holidays😮 you have to go to Brooklyn to get good pizza
Di Fara count?
I've been to that Malaysian jerky place a few times and got the pork and beef types. I really like how juicy it is compared to American style jerky. It is on the slightly oily side though, but I bring it home and eat a couple slices with rice. 😊
So good!
Balmy? That's frigid in Hawaii! Brrrr!
Bill didn’t get a roni cup pizza slice? Was that a fresh tomato ricotta slice with basil?? It looked so good❤❤
Great city 😉🤣🙊...great food...if you guys were to retire tomm, where would you guys wind up 🤔??? Was just curious, since you guys have been to a lot of places 😊🤗...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗❤
We all know it would be Las Vegas...😂
Good question! Vegas would seem the obvious answer. We shall see!
How can that meat plate be only $8.50??? What an amazing deal!!
I’ve never tried a NY bagel but if you get the chance, please try Courage Bagels in Los Angeles. The line is always long but it’s worth it, I’ve never tasted anything quite like it. Would like to hear your opinion.

Show us your Louis Vuitton wallet! Nice gift, Bill!
Thank you! Shot of it at 17:57 🤗
@@billandlisa Cute, thanks!
Will not call her crazy! I would agree - the $1.50 slice would win the day for me. At least, for today.

$5.50 or even $8.50!! That's cheaper than any fast food joint. Love a bit of char.
Thank you for saying how miserable and cold it is December in NYC! Coming from SF, I always thought I was a little spoiled and/or weird? :(

Cold weather is beautiful never miserable
You did show great food in this video. The price was right on all of it. The Rock Art, so stupid lol. I hope it had some meaning. Great price on your hotel room Wow. Take care guys.

Lisa, I love, love love your fluffy blue top. Where did you get it. I need it in my life.
Disney Store online. Thanks!
Did Bill lose weight?! All the places look sooo good, but that beef jerky look insane...I want to eat that!!! Thank U for great video!!
